Just stop the 4 vs 3.... I'm so freaking tired of losing my glory for unfair reasons. Especially because I work really hard for them!!!! I'm not a great player, and I dont play with my clan!!

Editado por whatsunknown: 10/3/2018 9:39:00 AMcan't upvote this enough. i try to steer away from the PVP becuase of several reasons, not the least of which is that i just suck at it. what really gets me tilted is when you have a quest track or objective that forces to do it, extra rage points for doing an extremely specific task that, due to aforementioned lack of skill, leads to never being able to complete said task (looking at you 25 precision kills with handcannon in crucible for ace of spades quest track). adding to that, the less said about matchmaking and the groups i find my self fighting against the better. i wish they would have alternative means of quest track completion, but i am but one individual. welp, that's my 2 cents.

I tried going for the claymore last season. But getting ddosed when my team starts to turn the game around. Or matched with a stacked team after one 'good' game to lose all progress. After being matched with the same team over and over. Oh the great advice people have was use LFG. Yeah that was a horrible experience most people where asking cash. The few that didn't were "must have X.0" or have some weapon. Its not like I wanted the claymore for PvP games wanted it for PvE. I dislike PvP to many toxic players and clans. Not asking for every one gets an award. Not asking for a hand out. I just want some good sportsmanship.
-
Comp shouldn’t exist. This isn’t Overwatch, D1 was fine without it and it only brings toxicity and rage.
-
Really not enjoying being crushed by clans.

Been going for the luna...solo play and lag issues have meade me quit. This coupled with the drop problems and dupe exotics even though I can -blam!-ing make exotic dupes have made me come so close to quitting forever.
-
survival is cancer, bring back elimination

6 RespuestasI was going to try going for Luna's, but after tonight, forget it. Stupid matchmaking screws me every time. My Glory went for 1300 down to 600 thanks to not winning a single match all night. I'm going to do the remaining 8 matches I need for Broadsword, then I'm not touching competitive again for at least this season.

I've had so many random get booted. I don't think they're leaving cause in some games we're winning and it happened to my team mate 4 times already today.

Which mod moved my post?

Even when me and 2 or 3 other friends are on, we don't play competitive. As far as I know, the rewards (in general) for competitive and quickplay are the same, so why bother? It's just an undignified sweat fest. Now if there were more to gain out of playing competitive (loot, not BS emblems and "status") it might be a different story. But ya, no. Played one, maybe two, competitive matches trying to get that crucible quest started, and immediately told my friends "nope screw this. I don't need Luna's howl. Not ever gonna be worth it".
-
I don't play competitive at all (anymore). Too many idiots, too much elitism, and the matchmaking doesn't help, since I would usually queue solo. I'll stick to the casual PvP.

Editado por x0 BlackJack 0x: 10/2/2018 1:42:52 AMWow people still playing pvp in destiny? Jesus I didn’t know there were that many hot wax and whip lovers playing the game O.o. I mean it to since destiny’s pvp is the worst out of all the games I have ever played. But at least the pve stuff is great and keeps me coming back. But for real pvp in destiny is as painful as smashing a testical with a hammer.

2 RespuestasStill better than last season. ...I really didn't like last season comp.
-
LOL - worst pvp, worst pvp development in history. You have to be an idiot or ignorant to think this pvp is worth competition LMAO.

6 RespuestasRemove countdown and survival from the playlist, they are failures as far as game modes go, especially countdown. Then maybe, just maybe comp would be bareable. Right now, it is the apotheosis of non-fun.

3 RespuestasI’m on heroic on my last reset for Broadsword. Once that is done, aside from milestones, not setting foot in there again. I do much worse in other PvP games and never have the frustration over the ridiculous shit that happens in this one. Shotguns have just become the new graviton lance and have too much range for a quick one shot kill. Luna’s Howl is literally unbeatable and only makes the best even better (what’s the point?). Killed through walls. Supers that are either way better than other ones or incredibly inconsistent. Inconsistent melees. Shoulder charge either locks on and flys up into the air to get people or completely whiffs by going through people. It’s just awful.

5 RespuestasComp is making me want to break my controller... i just want this fkn broadsword, and apparently that means i have to HATE everything about the game?
-
3 RespuestasI used to love PVP. I wish Bungie would give us a skills-based matchmaking option similar to QP. I still like Gambit, but the opposing team sabotaging the team the servitor drops for is bogus. That has to be fixed.

2 RespuestasBungie should just stay away from the word "competitive". They have absolutely no idea what they're doing and, quite frankly, are disgracing themselves to a degree I doubt they'll ever recover from in trying to make D2 a "competitive pvp experience". Lets take for instance the "comeback mechanics". In a competitive game, the idea of comeback mechanics completely counters the entire point of competitive. If you're a game developer trying to develop a competitive game and you don't understand why comeback mechanics completely undermine the entire point of competitive gaming then you have no business being in the competitive scene. Competitive isn't supposed to be "casual friendly", it's supposed to be competitive, meaning that you win or lose based on your skill versus your opponents skill. If you suck, you deserve to lose, flat out. If you're doing really well, the game shouldn't be handicapping you just because your opponent sucks, it should be rewarding you for doing really well. Any game where comeback mechanics are a feature only fosters bad players. These mechanics do not inspire players to improve because they tend to believe there is no need for improvement. The usual sentiment is something akin to "these guys are supposed to be pros but look how good we're doing against them". Competitive games that let bad players lose tend to chase away the casual crowd, but you cannot build a successful competitive game around pve'ers or casual pvp'ers, as Bungie learned the hard way with D2. Then again, that's a lesson I'm pretty sure Bungie already learned once but Bungie has a track record of not learning from their mistakes... and have become a general guideline for other developers on how not to develop your game. Competitive games that let bad players lose tend to chase away the casual crowd, true, but competitive games that try to appease the casual crowd always fail in the competitive scene and chase away their competitive crowd because truly competitive players, at least the ones who play for the competition anways (fk you sad, pathetic cheaters out there) tend to enjoy games where they are allowed to shine based on their skill. Competitive games that punish players for playing poorly also, however, have the side effect of showing those players that "they suck and need to improve their skills more". Casual friendly games that give bad players advantages for the sake of "keeping the game fun and competitive" tell these players "you're fine as you are, no need to improve."

5 RespuestasI suspect plenty of comp players play QP to farm kd I am utter poo at pvp but in 2 consecutive matches on friday on the opposing team was a player with the emblem displaying a 3kd and then the following match a player wrecking with Luna's Howl. Both finished with 40+ kills. Both of those players should surely be testing themselves in comp. I am so bad I would have no worse a time playing comp instead of qp at the moment.
-
Have to PLay comp because I won't play the trash that QP has turned into without SBMM. I don't want flip flop matches I want a more even level of play.
