1. I’m not lying. I said that the system is simply an annoyance for me personally. 2. Destiny is not a game like Diablo 3 where you can just play whatever drops while you power through the mid game. Weapons in D3 are basically just stat-sticks that have little impact on the game beyond the stats the carry. Weapons in Destiny are a critically important means of conveying power. GO TRY TO PLAY THE LAST WISH RAID WITH DUAL SIDEARMS AND A GRENADE LAUNCHER AND SEE HOW FAR YOU GET. I’m nearly a month in, and I’ve seen almost 40 Edge Transits as powerful drops (known bug) and and between 6-12 of every kind of side arm in the game. I think I currently have FIVE Vestian Dynasties alone right now. Without the huge stockpile of infusion mats and cores that I started with, this game would be approaching the [i]unplayable[/i] right now in end game terms. [b]The second Bungie decided to strip down the character skill tree and turn character skills into gear perks....and make gear score basically replace the function of character level..,,[/b] ...,is the day they lost the ability to treat gear in this game like others treat it. Because it now part of the game’s most basic power progression.
