What i got was the system is fine, the name of the cores is the issue. Working as intended. Also we will fix duplicate exotics but only after you have them all, exactly like last year. So no improvement was made since launch when it comes to this issue.
By the time all this is fixed(spoilers there will never fix exotic duplication) we will all be 600 or close to and have all the exotics. So what they are saying is its broken and we can't fix it in time. Or ever fix it cause we are on year 2 of trying to fix duplication of drops. I got 2 helmets from dungeon back to back. Raid gave me dragon shadow and colony robbing me of raid drops for duplicates. This community is by far the most patient ever.
After reading twab i feel less confident they will ever fix these issues.

1 RespuestaDid you skip the part where they said they plan to add ways to to obtain larger quantities of cores? Hopefully that means adding them to some bounty rewards.
-
And this surprises you.

After their fake contrition over D2 Vanilla so they can increase sales of their next DLC, Bungie resumes business as usual. Everyone is shocked 😲😱 😡🤬
-
They are usually tone deaf about everything. They've been better the last 6 months, but don't expec tthem to change for the positive all the time.
-
6 RespuestasHaven't Bungie been fixing duplicate exotics for like the last 3 or 4 years?
-
1 Respuesta"We recognise there is a problem with Masterwork cores so have decided to rename them to reflect their new purpose" They're also planning on making them a bit easier to obtain, but I still think this is tone deaf as it's just another currency that you need to grind for, why not just remove them from infusion as a ton of people are asking? and keep the rarity the same?

4 RespuestasBungie’s entire attitude since launching Forsaken has been pretty tone deaf. Other than a handful of bugs and exploits, they’ve barely acknowledged any issues, when the reality is that there’s tons of tuning and balance problems, many that are sort of ongoing problems they consistently choose to ignore. They haven’t even managed to come up with a “we’re sorry we screwed over the vast majority of year one gear, including the Solstice of Heroes armor we made you work your butts off to get; while we investigate deeper solutions, we’ll be restoring mod slots compatible with year 2 mods as soon as possible.” They have no respect for the time players have invested in the past; they have no respect for the time players are actively investing now. They move at a snail’s pace with pretty much all balance tuning and don’t do a particularly good job of it when they do make such changes. At this point, the question stops being when will Bungie fix things, because it’s clear they’re unwilling to put in honest effort and work to do it right; the question is only, how long until the right game or enough games come out so I have enough things to play in my free time that I don’t miss Destiny? For me, Mid October is probably going to be that answer.

I agree, this was a surprisingly tonedeaf response after they had been doing so well
-
They are going to fix those stuff in December when you need the anual pass, so remember to buy it and give them your money 👍
-
Wait what? Duplicate protection can't work if you have them all... This is the most -blam!- thing I've seen all week.

35 RespuestasI honestly don't feel like these are major issues requiring a hotfix. If you are short on cores, you are infusing way too much. You don't need Whisper and Sleeper for everything. As for the exotics, I like the fact that they don't drop as often. I'm not sure how I feel about making it more likely to drop something you don't have. I mean, sure I'd like to get a new exotic. But I have every exotic from year one and there weren't too many added in Forsaken. If every exotic drop is something I don't have, I'll be out of exotics to chase too soon.

Just stop giving me Edge Transit and Ten Paces.....just stop.

I felt the exact same way. They did this with tge d2 weapons system at launch.. Refuse to listen, waste a year of people not liking only to inevitably change it in the end. They are so stuburn. I am loving the expansion though.

3 RespuestasEditado por Corrick II: 9/29/2018 2:51:59 PMSo... did no one read the part about more chances to get cores? We don’t know what that means, sure, but it sounds like instead of removing the function, they will mitigate the frustration by helping us get more of them more easily. I don’t know, reading comprehension has always been my strong suit, I could be right. Simply put, if they just remove cores as a prerequisite, infusion will be too easy. Like it or not, they are making decisions by the numbers. Our numbers. They see we infused a lot, they see we only used the same guns which could lead to faster drop off rates once players get that feeling of “sameness” when they play. I may not agree 100% with it, but it makes sense when you have to consider the entire player base, which they do. To us, this is just a game, and when our toys feel broken we cry. To Bungie, this is a business, and they simply don’t have the luxury of “giving players everything they want” because if they did they would run out of things to give real fast. Let’s face it, the grind is what keeps us here. The amazing gameplay and “stuff” just makes it worthwhile.

9 RespuestasAfter reading your bitching and moaning I'm not confident you will ever lose your virginity. Just sayin.

I think masterwork cores are fine the way they are. You can get 12 a day at not much cost. Thats 84 per week. Once you hit max light, you will have so many you wont know what to do with them all. Having a fully masterworked weapon feels special now like it should.
-
2 RespuestasI mean, they have to give you forum dwellers something to bitch about, don't they? If the game was perfect, what would happen to this thriving community of butthurt pre-teens here on B.net?
-
Join us , make space for that 105gb masterpiece
-
So you didn’t comprehend the part of “cores will be changed to be more plentiful”? What an idiot.
-
8 RespuestasAt least they attempted to adress these issues. They still have no eta on fixes for the broken warlock subclasses. Well of radiance doesn't work with whisper, it only works with lunafactions for 15 out of the 30 seconds. Chaos reach has a perk that doesnt even work. Bungie has major priority issues. The masterwork issue should have been adressed way earlier.

There is nothing wrong and they deserve a clap for nk Not caving in

21 RespuestasSystem is fine. Bravo for not caving in to the whinning 👍

1 Respuesta
This community is by far the biggest whiners ever.
Fixed it for you. You're welcome😉

You're getting more sources for cores to drop. That's the best solution for this, as it compromises for both sides of the player base.
