He doesn't have to go anywhere, this place was a forum for gamers long before it was a destiny one Btw bungie have been working on destiny since at least odst as there are Easter eggs for it in that game. So yes bungie have been working on this series for around 10 years in all honesty. You played yourself as they say

Well now its a destiny forum. Just because it has been a thought for 9 years does not mean it was extensively worked on for that same amount of time. They realistically probably didn't start doing a lot for it until they left Microsoft. They were still in idea and art phase at that point.

You literally have no idea on WTH you're even talking about. If you know what starting production actually meat this wouldn't be an issue, but it's clear you don't. Go look it up, it might do you some good. While you are at it, look up when they started production. All games have a starting point, and most of the idea for D1 was thought about and planned out before they even stated on Halo Reach. D1 was the reason Bungie didn't want to create Halo Reach but because of their contract, they were forced to create it anyways. You really need to do your research before making a reply on something you no nothing about.

What’s sad is that 5 or 10 years isn’t the meat of the subject you were discussing. The fact that we are sitting here having a discussion about prestige mode being offered into the wild without prestige mode specific loot. Anytime a person grabs onto to anything that is debatable, in a deliberate attempt to steer the conversation away from what the conversation truly is or should be about, It becomes clear they have an agenda. The person who replied to you was fixated on the 10 year comment, instead of the meat of the meal. You have a valid point, albeit one that may not be 100% accurate. I’ll remind you there were adept weapons and hard mode helmets, etc... in Destiny 1 raids. They may have been introduced later than the actual hard mode or challenges introduced to the raids but they were introduced. Destiny 2 was a massive deviation from the ways of doing Destiny 1. So yes, Leviathan’s prestige mode introduction without specific prestige mode loot, other than purple glow armor was a huge mistake. Almost everything about D2, at launch, and through CoO dlc was focused on cosmetics though. There was loot for prestige mode, but it was cosmetic based. Not anything to write home to mom about, for sure. It’s a good point you have, not 100% factual though as there was hard/prestige mode gear in D1 raids and prestige loot in Leviathan. So, it hasn’t been absent. It definitely needs some attention though, cosmetics won’t cut it, at least not with me it won’t!

Before I say anything, thank you for at least knowing what you're talking about and having an open mind. It makes a world of difference when giving someone a reply. True, not all factual but it wasn't meant to be. Sometimes I just throw things out there to see who catches on and as you can see, it's a little difficult for some. Also, you are right, people tend to fix on one thing and not look at the overall. It happens way too many times on this forum that it's impossible to keep track. Bungie had something to work with when it comes to destiny, but they took a totally different route that IMO was unnecessary. It doesn't help either changing up teams that work on the game. It leaves having people that don't have a feel for the game leaving many issues to arise. IMO it's bad business and leaves a bad taste in the player base mouth sorta speak. IMO this company needs to learn to stick with what works and leave it alone because they have a Huge habit of changing things all the time that it causes more issue for this game than anything else. Besides all that? their engine is the main problem with this game. Until they create a new one that doesn't have major coding issues. This is how things will be throughout destiny's lifespan.

No because when people like you hate on things that are fine right now (cough cough masterwork cores), then that cause Bungie to make incorrect changes that just make things worse. It happens all the time with this community that just can't be satisfied no matter what they do. The game is in a great state right now with new content coming out weekly.
