Who Else is Still Enjoying Forsaken?
After the first week hype, who is still enjoying it?
Edit: Holy hell, came back to 227 notifications. Interesting to see the varying, but similar, complaints and likes.
2nd Edit: 368 this time, never thought this would get so much attention. Maybe I should just stick to these instead of long lore posts, lol.
Last Edit: 766 likes? That’s almost matches the amount of Edge Transits I’ve gotten. You guys are nuts.

Forsaken is actually really good. There are a few glaring issues I hope will be fixed soon, and once they are I think we'll be in good shape for awhile. Issues include: - Masterwork cores in infusion and how they shouldn't be. - Powerful loot needs to all drop at +5 your current light level - Exotic drop rate needs tuning and Xur needs to be relevant - More weapons and armor need brought up to Y2 status. Part of the Edge issue is that it's basically the only heavy we got that isn't activity locked. - Sad Tower music. We're over it, seriously.

Yes and no. I like the amount of stuff to do, but I don't like the fact that powerful engrams drop only 1 above current average light. This makes most powerful engrams a waste of time. I like Prime Engram drop levels, but not the fact that they are obviously weighted towards certain items instead of actually being completely ra ndom. RNG should not be weighted. I hated the former system of just giving everything away, but the current system is too far. I've made the necessary decision to only play one character, because the current system means that any time spent on other characters is wasted because Prime Engrams are the only way up, and any time spent on secondary characters is time not spent grinding prime engrams on my highest character. My prediction is that people will once again only grind to max and then quit, except this time it will just be one character. The random rolls aren't deep enough to keep people playing, and the masterwork core issue is a real problem.Then the playerbase will once again be a shallow pool and areas will once again be uninhabited. The solution is obvious. Drop cores from infusion, make RNG COMPLETELY random, and have powerful engrams drop 2-3 above current average light so we can bring all our characters through each week. Then increase the amount of possible perks on weapons and add an armor system that has a tier system with a number based roll like D1, so there is always a chance to get a better roll and infusion is possible without cores. The least they could do is transfer the cores we already used on an item into the item we are infusing into.

It's getting there. I don't like crucible but I find that I have to play in order to progress quicker. The perks still aren't that good. Modifiers still suck. Grander is good. Where's small arms and the one for secondary?

3 RespuestasMeh.., power grind is stupid. I'd much rather a traditional grind to this bungie imposed grind. Yeah, I guess I could grind for prime engrams, but I got a life. Each enemy tier should have a drop chance. Each chance should have a chance of dropping gear near, at, and above level. = normal grind.

Yh I come back and do powerfuls still have not done the raid as the group is finding it hard to be on at the same times plus 1 of us is now in the states and no longer living in the UK which makes it difficult when he comes on we’re either coming off or cba because we have work the next day.

I don't really consider bounties content. Found myself doing the same old shit that made me bored in the first place, putting in a shit ton of hard work and getting no rewards.

The light level grind has me a little turned off, but it is fun to play, BUT now the only place to high level stuff (once you hit 540) is nightfall, the well (once per week per character) and I guess SOME activities in the dreaming city. Everything else is only gonna drop at +1 depending on your armor and weapons, not exactly according to your overall light level. That is significantly reducing my will to grind.

Personally? Can't be arsed anymore.. been playing the game not very long and I'll be honest, it's waaay to drawn out, constant rewards below what I've got, crucible is shit (as always) and having to LFG the raid = me not doing any of the raids (and missing out on a lot it seems in the Forsaken).. I just wish Bungle hadn't shit in their dinner again, but they have.

You have no idea how much i hate the infusion system and the lack of a smart loot system for exotics but, other than that, i'm getting my money's worth :)

2 RespuestasForsaken really fixed a lot about Destiny and made me care more about the game again. For all the little complaints I have about infusion and matchmaking, I can't deny I'm happy for what is there.

2 RespuestasNot a fan of all the pvp being forced onto everyone, masterwork cores are way too hard to get, gambit needs a bit of work, and not a huge fan of Bungie raising the light level on the raid to keep up with the prime engram exploiters, but i suppose ill get there eventually. Other than that, its pretty decent.

17 RespuestasEverything was good until I decided to chase after the Ace of Spades hand canan I was promised for pre ordering and discovering all the grinding bullsh#t required to fix it when it's all ready in my possession, just let me injoy the goddamm game running through it with this weapon and not having to wait untill the end game or till I'm fed up!

Crappy system with spider increasing masterwork core price each time you buy just 1 core. Dont get me wrong I'm not asking for handouts as this forum keeps assuming when anyone has a problem with the system, but its kinda ridiculous. Just doing some tests, it wouldnt be too bad if the prices didnt go up. Ideally you could buy planetary materials from spider or farm them, trade them into vendors, about 60 for one rank and then 50 for the following rank so 110 every 2 ranks, scrap the gear into shards netting at least 3-6 each rank up and then buy cores and just do this to farm cores. You're still putting time into the game by farming glimmer and buying mats from spider or farm mats by doing planetary activities and bounties. Or do crucible and vanguard and scrap down gear you gain from turning in tokens and then use gun smith parts to get nore legendaries. However because the prices go up on simply 1 core, you're forced to wait until the price resets or dump more shards than you should. I believe they reset each day so unless you want to burn through your shards, you have to wait 1 week just to get 7 cores if you want to get 1 core every 10 shards. Max masterworks cost 20 and infusing costs between 0-3 depending on what you're infusing. So at best you're waiting 3 weeks just to masterwork 1 weapon at that rate. Best bet is to just masterwork year 1 weapons for orb generating since they only cost 10. Kinda starting to slow down.
