This game is a grind fest. Adding master work cores as a required piece to infuse a weapon or piece of gear is garbage. I haven't been playing since D2 came out because frankly the game was terrible preforsaken. So unlike everyone I see on youtube I don't have 600 master work cores, or 500 of said gathering mats, or the trials ghost. I am not good at exploiting errors in the game either.
Really this is what Bungie wants? The have and have nots in a video game? Can you imagine if Blizzard did this crap where they come up with a New Patch and if you played the previous patch you had a massive advantage when it came to gearing

1 RespuestaThe main issue is that there is no excitement on seeing a purple engram drop, you know it’s a legendary of lower level. You only get the powerful engrams from bounties so if your trying to rank up and have done your weekly bounties then it’s almost pointless Saying that if we are all level 600 then everyone will be complaining that we have nothing to do, so it’s a hard balancing act I guess
-
You’re doing it wrong. No need to infuse everything.
-
Infusion isn’t mandatory, and besides this game is an MMO be thankful you don’t have to grind like in WoW that could take weeks to get a single item.
-
2 RespuestasWhilst I agree its a bit steep it's better in the long run. It's week 2 for god sake. In no time we will all be 600 and dismantling guns for days and have so many resources to upgrade our chosen favourite rolls on weapons and exotics etc. For now you are expected to use what drops and infuse the few things you really like.
-
Fully agree with the grind part, in early D1 I feel like I could do any activity in the game and still make progress but in foresaken I feel I’m restricted to a line up of activity’s just to get powerful gear
-
When the community bitches about not having enough grind, Bungie is like, oh yeah....you want grind do you?
-
1 RespuestaI agree, masterwork cores shouldn't be part of the infuse cost. The whole point of adding perks to armour and random rolls to everything was that you could use what you wanted to. Day 1 player and I can't. I'd understand if it was just to be able to infuse into a masterwork item but using them for just plain legendary items is annoying.
-
I agree with you. Things should be an easy cakewalk but they shouldn’t be a chore either, this is a game afterall.
-
3 RespuestasDid you ever play Destiny 1? If not this is what it used to be like and D2 was a total shock to us all. I'm kinda glad they made it harder again.

Ok.... We get it.... Your a baby.... It’ll be ok.

2 RespuestasThis post is a perfect example of the community not knowing what it wants. D2 launched with a pretty easy endgame. For a year everyone complains and asks Bungie to bring back the grind. And the second they do, people like you write shit like this. No words...
-
Editado por Skoals_Venom: 9/21/2018 2:19:03 PMLight should not be a grind, I should be able to continue to climb up in my light level by playing the game. Yes I enjoy a good grind but preventing me from getting to the recommended light level to raid or do endgame content if I wanted to should not exist. Give us god roll weapon grinds, exotic quest grinds. Stuff like that to grind out if we have time to. The weapon catalysts were good samples of grinds.
-
2 RespuestasCore is not required to infuse ‘same’ gear or same weapon-only glimmer required. So if you have a scatterhorn helmet-wait until another drops and only glimmer is required
-
Editado por name: 9/21/2018 9:24:43 AMit doesnt make the grind more, as you can actually use whatever you get and has the highest number BUT it makes the grind less enjoyable and tedious since you are forced to use crap RNG items and ugly armor too
-
I wouldn’t mind them being a requirement if you got a few more of them. Even if say every one in 2/3 legendaries you break down you got 1/2 cores you’d at least be able to go and grind strikers or something and come out with 10 cores.

4 RespuestasEditado por What I Look Like: 9/20/2018 1:23:42 PMA lot of people here are ridiculing you because they played Destiny 2 for maybe 3 times as many hours as others did. They pat themselves on the back and refer to themselves as hardcore players or vets (l-o-fcking-l). When they post gifs here showing us some cool play or funny moment, they make sure to flash through their inventory and show off their 999 stacks of vanguard tokens and planetary materials. These people are undesirables. They talk in extremes and absolutes.. so you say take MW cores out. They say the grind will disappear. They act like discussion is impossible and they tell you you're whining. Call you a casual, as if to imply having less time to play a game means you're less of a player, less invested into the world you also payed full price for. Could Bungie not make it so that infusion costs more of every material to compensate for taking MW cores out? Instead of pointing fingers and starting up that stupid casual vs hardcore talk, let's just talk. Hash it out. There is clearly a problem here, and like it or not "hardcore" players are the overwhelming minority here. Plus, are you all really hardcore? Do you really think this game requires actual grinding? Have any of you played an actual MMORPG? Hell, Runescape and ESO have more grind. WoW and Warframe are grindfests. Not Destiny. Infusion can still be hard to do, without MW cores.

1. Stop watching YouTube and twitch destiny 2 footage. 2. Stop reading the forums or reddit. These sources of info will only frustrate you and make you feel like "you're falling behind". Use these sources to help on quests and such only. Play the game, take what it gives you, or play something better. And there are alot ov those.👍😁

13 RespuestasIt's not enough of a grind, to easy too boring. Go and earn your easy to get shit.
-
Blizzard? You mean....world of warcraft and heroes of the storm guys? Yeah, blizzard would never make expansions and lock content behind money and paywalls!!!!!
-
You don't even know what grind is until you've played Warframe.
-
I've been infusing my reverie dawn set since i got it up to now 550s, masterwork cores are not hard to get (buy them everyday from spider). And just infuse the same item into itself to get a much cheaper infusion. Stop whining and learn the game. It's really not that grindy.
-
3 RespuestasStop infusing everything and save up cores. Dont infuse small increments. Dont blame others for your gameplay preferences.
-
ITS THE MOMENT WE ALL HAVE WAITED FOR! WHERE THE GRIND WAS TO MUCH FOR THE COMMON MAN! HAZZA!
-
7 RespuestasEdge Transit into Edge Transit = 5000 glimmer 2 bounties completed = 5000 glimmer ten bounties = 25000 glimmer. that is = 5 Edge Transits you can infuse.
