Is basically non-existent. And its beyond a joke. I’m not quite sure what the moderators or community managers are doing all day but its not their job. So far the largest topic of debate has been the imo, broken infusion system and after 2 weeks of consistent posts on all platforms arguing against and for it there has been NO feedback on the issue, NO transparency with the community.
Is it supposed to be like this? A seemingly pointless forum. Its ridiculous to think that maybe we see some responses to these topics, even the generic Bungie “Were listening to your feedback and discussing changes” bs.
This problem of garbage community management has been a problem since D1, and the divide between fans playing the game and the developers in their dream land is getting bigger. And its ruining the game.

Their silence speaks for them. It says, "For right now, this system is not open to debate or negotiation." Their goal is to deplete the resources of hardcore players and reset the game's progression...and right now there is a contest of wills between Bungie's investment team, and players like myself. To see who will blink first.

You're right, in that It's really been this way since Destiny 1, but this is to be expected for all "big" gaming companies. We live in an age where they only take true feedback from "influencers," for better or worse. That's why Youtubers and streamers get invited to their headquarters, and to events and other special stuff like that. Their go-to response about community feedback, or anything from us regular people, can be summarized as "We know we don't communicate enough, and we'll work to do better." But that's been the response for more than a couple years. Which is fine, if you look at the majority of what's posted here. I wouldn't want them catering to the lazy, or the people who can't be bothered to actually try in a game, which would happen if they came here for said feedback. The main advantage to posting things here is that a 'mentor' or mod might find a real issue through our posts, and will pass it along to where it needs to go.

1 RespuestaYour on the wrong forum. You either need to be on Reddit or Twitter to get a hold of them. They get beat up on this forum all the time so they don't like us anymore.
-
2 RespuestasCozmo's already said that he forwarded this on a different post
-
5 RespuestasHe makes this post while ignoring the pinned threads at the top of the forum.

4 RespuestasWhat are you talking about? They've been quicker than ever to patch and sort issues!!! If you think you can do better then apply for a -blam!-ing job. That is how they want infusion to work now. If you don't like it then keep posting and keep telling them but to say they aren't doing a good job is just plain false.
-
What kind of person even becomes a moderator? You spend your day deciding what other people can say, deciding what's "offensive". Loooooosers!
-
1 RespuestaStream their game. They’ll listen to you then.

1 RespuestaI would guess that they haven't made a definitive response to the topic of infusion costs because we're only two weeks in to the game. We need more time to see how this mechanic plays out in the game. Let's be honest, infusion in year one was basically free. There was no choice to be made, you just infused every item that you liked to keep them current. I like the fact that I actually have to stop and consider whether to infuse something. Is it worth doing yet? Is there something else I can use in its place? With the current system, I've been trying out whichever items are the highest light, and it's giving me the chance to try things I normally wouldn't. I've still got a long way to go before I reach max power. I'll worry about optimizing my items then.
-
1 RespuestaIt's mostly reddit or twitter that they respond to. They don't care about this cesspool
-
Theyve been pretty great at communicating. If you're just scrolling thru the forums, you're looking in the wrong place.

3 RespuestasWelcome to Bungie post product drop. Cosmo and Dmg are needed as added bean counters. Bungie has absolutely abysmal transparency. Not talking to their community and giving thin answers is their MO. They have few but glaring issues that need addressed but they'll wait to talk about them until a TWAB way too late. The three main issues that need addressed are Masterworks in Infusion, Powerful gear throttling, and a minor tweak to Exotic drop rate. But that's just my opinion.
-
if will fix it real good, you will never be able to infuse a weapon! ...
-
4 RespuestasActually I have seen Cosmo reply to a post about the infusion system being so expensive. So there has been a response.
-
-
TWAB...?
-
12 RespuestasI think it’s safe to say, that the community is stupid and whatever bungie say, people complain. FYI, the infusion system isn’t that bad, just be patient and buy your cores from spider each day when they are cheap.
-
THIS!!!!! Not only do they not address items, they typically take to Twitter when they decide to do so. Regardless of how toxic folks are, this is their site and they should post here first and then twitter. It seems like every time there is an announcement it's on twitter, but no where to be found on the site. The community managers are a complete waste of space. They provide no value whatsoever.

Is a giant “ fuk you pay us “
-
This forums are largely ignored. Haven't heard from Deej in literally forever, occasionally see a post from Dmg or Cozmo, you'd think a game that acts like it's big shit with its 10 Million player base would have more people actively taking feedback.

Bungie thinks y'all nerds are nuts....
