Ascendant Challenge Portal Closed After Completion with Fireteam Member Inside - Cannot Receive Chest or Bounty
Last night (Monday, Sept 17) I went to complete my Ascendant Challenge before reset. A friend of mine had already completed it but joined my fireteam to help. As the last knight died, I fell off the cliff and died as well. My triumph completed, and I revived and went to enter the portal to receive my prize. However, I was ported outside the portal on revive (as expected) but the portal had been closed, and I still had my Tincture of Queensfoil buff (Ascendance) active. I could not enter the portal, nor did I receive completion for my bounty. I went back to the Traveler to check the postmaster, but nothing was there. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete it again as I ran out of time. Any assistance is appreciated.

4 RespuestasHey there, Unfortunately the bounty works a little different from the Triumph. While the Triumph will unlock when the last enemy dies, the ascendant challenge bounties require you to open the chest and claim your rewards. Once the last enemy dies, the portal closes (to prevent other players from coming in and receiving rewards they didn’t earn. Unfortunately once this happens you’ll be locked out. You’ll have to redo the ascendant challenge to finish your bounty.
