Shotgun Range Nerf?
We're playing on these maps made for 4v4 and just getting sniped by shotguns. I can't be the only one frustrated by playing quick play (Or Comp) against a full team of shotguns. Not a problem in most cases, but backpedaling with a sidearm doesn't work like it did in D1 because the range is too much. Mid-range for a sidearm is still the kill zone for most shotty's in this game. I genuinely feel like the only way to counter is to use a shotgun better than your opponent and that just screams lack of balance.

3 RespuestasLots of counters the key is to use your weapons intended range before you get into a gunfight, if you are going around corners with scout rifles it is your fault. Look up your weapons time to kill and imagine someone rusing you, you have to figure out how long it would take them to get to you and at what distance your gun can kill them before they reach you. Once you get used to the range you will slowly die less and less to shotgunners. If you look at my games im not dieing as much due the experience i have aquired vsing shotgun warriors.
