Alright guys. I hate this new infusion system, and I'm not the only one. If I don't want to touch Titan, I shouldn't have to touch Titan. And masterwork cores? Seriously? If these are going to be required for infusion, JUST RAISE THE DROP RATE. And I know that the Spider can sell these items, but seriously, the infusion system requires too much. Change it back.

I quit destiny 2 forsaken after i spent $100 on it, because of this shit ass system...
-
I agree, that the masterwork infusion system is flawed! I personally, would like to see the masterwork cores removed from the infusion system and keep the planetary infusion materials, to not make it to easy..

6 RespuestasInfuse the same into the same and you don't need anything but glimmer. And you can get 21000 glimmer a day in less than 30 minutes doing spiders bounties. That's enough for four infusions. Most players just want to infuse everything all the time and you can't anymore. Infuse wisely and it's not a problem.

2 RespuestasBack to Y1 D2? heck no. Back to D1 Y3 -- yes

15 RespuestasWE ALL HATE IT...there was a post last week with over 1000 upvotes to change it back and Bungie didnt do it. im actually quitting the game because of it

No Move along

1 RespuestaIf you do lost sectors you have a chance of getting 5 mastereork cores.
-
2 RespuestasKeep the glimmer and mats maybe increase the amount of shards to double what it is now and remove masterwork cores all together from infusion that is total BS Bungie
-
It's just Bungie slowing progression so they don't need to make more content, problem is it's just not fun.

1 Respuestaits is too much , if you waste your materials this early in the game ... no where near level cap and people wasting materials then crying about it ... play smart.

9 RespuestasEditado por Reapo: 9/12/2018 5:31:36 AMI think its better. For a whole year the community has been complaining about no content and now you have it! I feel that if the current infusion system was in back when the game released no body be complaining then! I didn't like the old infusion system. It was bland and crappy. LOVING the new infusion system. Masterwork cores are a bit much, but im happy overall.
-
They just need to remove the MC requirement. It is such waste of cores especially now that it takes more to mastework a weapon up to 10.
-
2 RespuestasThe requirement for masterwork core to infuse is the only thing I’m complaining about, I’m not incredibly angry about the planetary materials since they made easier to get but I completely agree.

3 RespuestasEditado por Saterienne4807: 9/12/2018 10:54:12 AM#DidYouKnow? If you infuse the same weapon or armor it will just require 5000 lumen to work. This system is intended to give more reasons to play a lot and search for drops, it's a good idea IMO.

22 RespuestasEditado por CapNKirkland: 9/12/2018 3:55:59 AMInfusions are fine as they are. The only thi g they need to do is take masterwork cores out of the infusion process. Everything else is fine. I need more things to pump my shards into anyway
-
Hell yes!!!!! I couldn’t agree with you more.
-
3 RespuestasNo. Reduce or eliminate the Masterwork core requirement. But keep the need for the player to THINK before they pump gun A into gun B. And maybe try Gun A instead of just mindlessly trashing it.

As someone uninterested in spending 40 bucks on what'll only be a few hours of content, it feels like Bungivision spitting in my face. "Well, the Spider sells them". Yeah, and I don't have the dlc, so I have to rely on stupidly rare and lucky drops?? What kind of system is that? That doesn't make decisions feel more important, it feels like a developer desperately trying to extend gameplay by unnecessarily dropping roadblocks to my already slow progress because I won't pay up. It was such an unnecessary and ridiculous change. Noticed this latest update even tossed in a 15 shard requirement on top of everything. That's absurd, man. What if I kind of want various pieces to mix up for the skae of variety? Well, screw me, then because I just don't ha e the resources unless I farm grindy ass nonsense for another twenty hours. NOPE.

1 RespuestaChoice one. "Lose tens to hundreds of thousands of players in an empty attempt to keep sweaty idiots happy". Choice two. "Accept that the world in general is better off every time a sweaty idiot crys them selves to sleep, and do what's going to make the largest portion of your player population happiest, the fastest." Objective reality. They will never get rid of the sweaty players, no matter what they do, these toxic bastards aren't going anywhere, they could literally do the exact opposite of everything these cry babies demand to feed their ego and they'd still keep playing. So the best answer for the survival of destiny. Is do what makes players happy, not what makes them feel frustrated. And embrace that the community is better by every tear shed by sweaty players.

2 Respuestasthey were able to change infusion system to year 1 guns and armor but were unable to give year 1 guns the option to get year 2 mods and abilities and perks to year 1 armor that MAKES A LOT OF SENSE - BUNGO

1 RespuestaHere's the larger problem. Eventually you will find the loadout you want. You won't have to "decide." A 534 "The Last Dance" drops and you know you're not going to run that in the raid. It just won't happen. Therefore, you have to infuse. Suddenly, this infusion costs 2 cores. Let's say you want to give yourself some options. Maybe have both a sniper and shotgun primed for the raid? Guess what, 4 more cores. Note, there's not an efficient way to get these back right now. Apply these costs to every weapon slot in your inventory. It adds up, and the spending of these cores is not matching the drop-rates of them. I had over 200 because of year 1 dismantling, and now I'm done to 180. No, I haven't been just using them all willy-nilly. I'm upgrading to prep for the raid. The example I gave is an exact one that happened. I'm getting a crap power/prime drop, so I have to infuse it into my main. Right now, though, my main is only an Auto, Shotty, and Grenade launcher. It's a decent loadout, but I'm stuck if I have to use anything else, like a sniper. Overall, yes, the infusion system needs to change to allow flexibility without core cost.
-
1 RespuestaI simply don't have the time for the new system. This limits everything I can and cannot do in the game. I hate it.
-
100% agree. I get that they're trying to add parity to the game in some way, but this infusion system doesn't make any sense. It's clearly just a way to make people keep playing in every area of the game.

Editado por Rytram: 9/12/2018 5:37:34 PMIm inclined to agree. I was lead to believe that only year 1 was gonna be expensive to infuse. But nope. Literally everything is ridiculous to upgrade. It went from like 1k glimmer and 3 LS to 9k glimmer 15-25 LS, 25 PR, and 2-4 MC to do a simple infusion. This is their idea of dragging out the end game by slowing down Progression. Im all ok for slowing down progression. Hell, i'd be ok id they only removed MC from the requirements. But at this rate it is simply ridiculous.

It seems like a way to force a grind. But how is it fun to grind, to use items we already have?! Yeah it stops the crutch exotic players with Graviton Lance and Vigilance Wing. With continual duplicate drops. We are at points, being forced to play with bad weapons and rolls for the sake of Power. Though I'm set for when the double sidearm, grenade launcher meta drops. The Masterwork cores should be for upgrading, not power.
