Announcement (not that any one but myself would give a rat's butt...)
...rant incoming...
As of now, as soon as I see a Tractor Canon in the Crucible, I will quit the match. The trolls that are using it (mostly crouch-camping, Wormhusk Hunters with a gamertag that already smells a-hole), know exactly how broken it is, which is why they have it equiped in the first place. I don't really care if I lose or win, I just want to have fun and frag out with my fellow Guardians. There needs to be a level playing field, though. That poor excuse of a gun is the equivalent to bringing a Super Soaker to a water baloon fight. It may be fun for you but we are trying to play the game here, as intended.
I don't even understand how that trash gun can be fun. I tried it a few times, understood that you could exploit the hell out of it and never used it again. It's just too easy to get kills with it. How much of a butthead do you need to be, to enjoy using a gun that requires zero skill? You feel powerful, yes? But is is your fun worth breaking the game for everyone else? I can counter anything, be it a V-Wing, a Grav-Lance or any power weapon in the game.
And don't tell me: "you scrub, git gud", you and Bungie are the problem, not me. You for using that piece of crap and Bungie for giving us so much power ammo. That sh*t has no real counter and you know it. A team with 2-3 Tractor Canons and knowing how to use it, is almost unbeatable. You can just rush around, click in the general direction and you kill everything that's in front of you and even Supers become useless. How did this thing pass testing???
So eff Tractor Canon, eff everyone that's exploiting the hell out of it and sorry to my teammates, because I will boycott that gun until it gets a fix.
PS: For PvE I don't care. Make us as powerful as possible.
EDIT:
You claim several times people are using the gun as an exploit and it is broken, yet do not say what is broken or how they are exploiting with it
First of all, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Everyone that plays some Crucible does.
If not, let me lay it out for you.
The Tractor Canon:
- doesn't need aiming
- it gets way too much ammo per brick
- it cancels supers AND all abilities
- it's mostly one-shot-kill
- it makes you into a projectile
All this results in a gun that gives people the possibility to aimlessly run around the map, just click a mouse button and kill everything in sight, no matter what's in front of you, without really giving you a consistent counter. Even if you're lucky enough to survive, all your abilities are gone. So you either die by flying of the map or an easy follow-up shot, because you don't control your movement. That, per definition, is overpowered. You want to farm your K/D? Use the Tractor Canon. 'Nuff said.

So we’re all in agreement that we should need fusion rifles, right?
