The new quest is gonna be a bitch to complete, and you will literally have the OG Claymore, which less than 10% of people have. What’s wrong with Bungie giving players a DIFFERENT GUN? XD

I didn't realize that Bungie retroactively removes Claymore from people's inventory in Season 4.

11 RespuestasImmature mentality on display and here’s why. Most players wouldn’t play Comp based on the issues with scoring and matchmaking. Those like yourself chose to, persevered, received your Tier 3 prize and will get an emblem. Where you need to look into the mirror and get your head around is the big picture. Less than 10K of players did what you did because they felt the Comp game mode was not fun to play. Look at Trials and see a steep decline in player participation over time ultimately leading to the Trials game mode going away while changes are made. Back to the Comp game mode. Change had to occur with Comp to bring players back to this game mode or why bother with it in the 1st place? Think about what’s best for the game and don’t get all wrapped up on individual achievements. Everybody wins when the game improves for the majority of players.

2 RespuestasThe grind to get the Broadsword is pretty big man, plus you’ll have it in your loot table for drops straight away at Forsaken so you’ll get one before people who don’t have Claymore. That’s pretty fair to me.

It is an OK gun that you will not use that much. Now you get an emblem so you can show your achievement to all. Seems fine to me.

10 RespuestasYou grinded for a year one weapon in year one. Bungie saw how unpopular comp was and changed it for year 2. Stop whining the grind is even easier for you in year 2 you get the new version for free. Besides, it was never about the painfully average gun, it was about bragging rights, which you still have.

Wrong. Bungie just put out a list of the quest steps for the Broadsword. It's gonna be one hell of a grind.

You can't be thankful that you're one of the few to earn it? I saw the quest steps for the handcannon and was like nope not doing all of that. I won't cry that I don't have it just like I never cried about not getting the claymore. I don't care I have other guns. Good job getting the claymore guardian!
