Nova bomb tracking is awful
Nova’s with the ‘tracking’ ability (Top Tree) dont track based on line of sight, but by some magical entity that can see through walls. This sounds good, until you throw 10 nova’s at enemies, which should easily kill them, only for it to home into the wall, making it useless. This is especially apparent in crucible.
This can be easily fixed though, just make it work off line of sight, rather than player positions compared to it.

It seems as if the tracking has become bugged or Bungie lowered the tracking properties as this past week and today it seems very selective on whether it tracks or not.

6 RespuestasImo it should track whoever's in your crosshair once you fire it. If they get behind cover then they've simply out played you at that point, but at least you'll know that it actively gunned for them. It also makes it less of a headache in PvE when I'll be targeting a boss and it'll just go for a trash mob that ran by right before it hits.

1 RespuestaI've seen NB track people across the map when it annihilates their team(saw it happen today, pretty epic), and I've seen it pretty much go off in the opposite direction of the intended target. It really just depends on the way the Void is feeling at the moment.

1 RespuestaTracking a target beyond line of sight is fine. [i]Acquiring[/i] a target outside of line of sight is some balls when it always results in the Bomb faceplanting into a wall and suiciding itself.

1 RespuestaThe tracking is kooky. The seekers sometimes don't show. The Vortex doesn't last long enough. Hell, this subclass as a whole has some serious issues when it comes to PvP. Sure, Devour works fine and Blink can be sneaky but that's the few things that work lol

Cause all the nova bombs I came across were able to perfectly follow me around corners and wall and even make perfect 180 degree turns if I managed to jump over/under them and get me. And worst part is even if you some how manage to cause it to explode cause of time you then gotta run from what 5 mini nukes that are just as stupid as it is. Sounds like a user error.

4 RespuestasUp close tracking is horrendous, threw a Slova bomb yesterday, the guy was 5-10 feet in front of me, it sailed right by him and just kept on going. I sat down after that and took bullets to the face out of despair.
