Blink for hunters
With the addition of 3rd sets of perks for each subclass with the new supers and such coming with the forsaken dlc, why not give the hunter arcstriders thier blink back. In destiny 1 it was known that the warlocks taught the hunters how to blink. Wouldnt it be fitting if the hunter were to remember the teachings of his/her warlock buddys along with his new mastery of the arcstaff? It would make things a bit more diverse aswell, so that not only voidwalkers can blink. I would love to hear everyones thoughts.
EDIT: The amount of goddamn children in this thread holy crap. I am a voidwalker warlock THE ONLY CLASS THAT HAS BLINK. I am not a hunter. I am not doing this for my benefit. I am only suggesting ideas and asking for feedback. You can give me that feedback without being a -blam!-ing child.

To be honest since a lot more engagements are at significant distance In D2 I feel that no one uses blink anymore because closing the gap isn’t worth it without a shotgun on them all the time. And more often then not the gap is to distant to close now anyways.

Here let me just dodge with my wormhusk to reload my gun and trigger health regen and then blink above you because hunters are forever "getting the shit end of the stick" and "need everything we can get" to be viable. So did hunters forget what the Warlocks taught them?!!” But then there are a million things with MASSIVE question marks over them in D2. Like what ignorant moron signed off on Arcstrider saying “yeah that’s good that”?! Even though staff strikes rarely reach an enemy stood right in front of you, and all someone need do to avoid is jump up. There is zero tracking on it. Bladedancer was great cos if they dash out of reach it would blink strike them as expected, but no we’re just left spinning around getting shot from above. Seriously BungIe check your devs they’re mostly idiots.

I would love to have my blink back. Especially with the new void blade dancer. I know we learned it from the warlocks....but the live action trailer for d1 shows the hunter using the jump...why can we not have it back

Not for Arcstrider, but I think it would make sense for the new Spectral Blades since they’re so similar to Arc Blade.

Read through a bunch of these comments and it seems like the main issues people have with Blink returning to hunters is that it would cause problems in the Crucible specifically. Two things to note on my perspective 1) I main hunter and would LOVE blink back, it was fun to use, and it would be fine in PVE 2) I don't play any crucible, but I ABSOLUTELY agree with the PVP point of view on this as well, that it would cause problems Unless Bungie finally does what most people want and separates the d**n PVP from PVE, nothing will resolve this. BOTH groups of players have different Balance needs that deserve to be addressed, but Bungie in its oh so infinite wisdom decided to screw over that basic fact by tying the two together

4 RespuestasBlink on Arc-staff is would be broken. I would be very happy to see blink on Spectral Blades since it's basically a Bladedancer remake and Bladedancer was commonly used with either Blink or Bones of Eao + Control jump. Sadly It's highly unlike Hunters will get blink back ever again though. Most Warlocks would never let it happen.

How about no The other classes need more love in terms of general effectiveness, especially in pvp. in fact most of the buffs warlocks gotten in the past few months are only good for pve and non that are effective and pve, not that i play that much pvp but even i know when the scale is tipped in another classes favor. and i can tell you that in pvp its not in the favor of the warlocks, nor the titans the numbers prove it

With how blink is now it doesn’t seem that bad, but it doesn’t really fit the hunter style as well as it fits warlocks.

I think it would fit with Way of the Wraith. If Bungo says that I get it back I will 100% preorder the Digital Deluxe.
