Me and my buddies were playing a game of Competitive crucible when we got matched up against this 4 stack. all of us are on high speed internet and haven't had issues ever on our internet connections. I cant speak for my teamates but I'm rocking a 100mbps google fiber internet connection. as soon as we get loaded in boom. down goes one of our plyers. internet stops working, gets kicked out of discord and has to reset his router. that was a little suspicious, but next round BOOM! another player gets kicked no discord internet goes down and he has to reset his router. and suprise next round BOOM! the last teamates gets booted and internet goes down. as soon as they reset their routers they hop back on, no problem internet is working just fine. SO i get a little suspicious. that just doesnt happen. 3 people accross the U.S with good internet having back to back to back internet problems. so I look at these 4's game records and yup. every other game is a 0.000 kd win. CAN BUNGIE OR SOMEONE PLEASE do something bout this. This isn't my first rodeo. it seems every day i play we run into something like this. but this one was just obvious

Lmao Ninja Edit suggests in game reporting. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone get punished by in game reporting yet. What a joke.
-
1 RespuestaThis has been happening since D1. Either Bungie cant stop it or they don't care...take your pick. Oh and get ready to have your post moderated and for Bungie to threaten to ban you for Naming and Shaming. Because #justice...
-
Thankfully the ninjas are hard at work removing any perceived 'naming and shaming'. Would not want to hurt the precious feelings of someone cheating. I do not even blame the ninjas, at least THEY are doing something even if it is shortsighted. That is more than I can say for Bungie who is too afraid to take action against cheating.
-
1 RespuestaWould dedicated servers help with any of these 'cheating' issues? God knows we have given them enough money to get them.
-
Cheating is a big thing in D2 now and folks dont want to recognize it. Either from totaly modded controllers to network manipulation and ddossing its there. I have played vs players and behave outside the rules of the game in movement and lag. In my experience someone with lag does not have a high kda because they also lag. On xbox i see players with incredible lag and they take no damage and as soon as i look them up they have 4 and 5 kda. Xbox has taken action on my reports several times. Not sure wtf bungo does.

6 RespuestasEditado por calitriuk: 6/28/2018 10:21:22 AMA lot of players in the community completely deny the existence of cheaters, but I reckon they’re among us and they’re trying to convince us all that cheating doesn’t exist. Remember John Carpenters movie ‘The Thing’ where an alien life form assimilates and then imitates other humans? Cheaters are no different. Cheaters infiltrate, assimilate and pretend to be real players whilst trying to convince the rest of us it’s all in our heads or it’s just paranoia. Bungie better wake up before it’s too late, it’s time to pull out the flamethrower and rid ourselves of this invasion before it consumes us all!
-
We are coming up on 4 years of this with D1 and D2. It isn't going to change.
-
Against the rules to "name and shame" and gets fixed fast. Wish they'd fix the cheaters with such haste lol.
-
I think I know who u are talking about. All 4 of us got ddosed. I checked their game history and their opponents never finish the game. It has been like for the last 37 games. 37 GAMES! DO SOMETHING! LOOK AT MY COMPETITIVE GAME HISTORY FOR PROOF! RESPECT THE EFFORT I PUT INTO UR GAME!
-
The last guy in the game, orbit, save the video. Upload video to Youtube, then report to bungie for cheating via the website and attach a video of DDOS. We got hit in Trials and Bungie band that group ranked 23 in trials within 2 days. Using in-game report... you never see anything happen to those guys.

2 RespuestasSorry this happened to you, my friend. It's been a thing for awhile - I mean, I've been DDoS'ed since D1 Trials. Everyone on this forum will not believe you and will say 'durr dee durr how you know you didnt jus lag or destiny is bad lawl no cheating'. I also have checked game history of teams when this has happened to me, and same result. Telling me a team won 6 (including our "loss") straight Trials games with 0.0 KDs and the other teams each disconnected one by one? This community is a joke and doesn't like to admit this happens, but it's ridiculously prevalent in Trials -- yours might be the first I've seen people doing it in regular Crucible. Which is sad that they feel so comfortable they will do it in regular games and not just the big money Trials carries :p But of course, Bungie will never admit to it or do anything about it. Only a real developer who wanted their game to be popular for years to come, like Blizzard, would actually put effort into stopping cheaters in their game. Luke Smith is only concerned with doing the absolute minimum he can while still extracting whatever $$ he can from the remaining, dwindling player base.
-
Just to let you know ddosing is a federal crime and it falls under the cyberterroism laws so you should get video evidence and keep it then report it to Sony/Microsoft/Blizzard and if you really want to screw the ddosing shits over let the local authorities know as well

2 RespuestasWelcome to destiny. Where naming and shaming (actual cheats) is considered worse than cheating.
-
Bungie don’t care about the cheaters. It helps keep the side market the streamers have set up going. Bungie would rather keep the streamers happy selling runs (with cheating) than fix the game by removing the incentives to cheat. Bungie won’t fix the cheating problem.
-
Ninja should be ashamed to ninja in the name of Bungie.
-
Hahaha, "there is no need to report them on forums". What a complete joke, like bungie trying to hide and keep quiet the fact they have a terrible game with rampant problems. Please don't tell anyone! GTFO

Think I bumped into these guys or similar tonight - banned from competitive without even loading up :(
-
Bungie isn't going to do anything, after all cheaters are paying customers too.
-
Oh my god.Cheaters!!!
-
This is why i simply will not even bother with trials or competitive.
-
I hope they slap battleye or easy on this. It would solve lots of problems.

2 Respuestaswelcome to Destiny crucible - were you playing trials? nothing has been done about crap like this in years. Bungie needs dedicated servers and to stop allowing BS like this to continue.
