Honestly if they are going to have a major character death it would have to be someone we care about as a character which most likely means Cayde. I don’t want to see him go don’t get me wrong, just saying.

They've been using Cayde as a crutch for far too long anyway. I think it's time he fell down a pit or got lit on fire for good old-fashioned hero roast.

I could see him being kicked out of the vanguard for running an illegitimate prison in the reef and come back sometime in he future. There’s always shiro-4 to replace him

I highly doubt it as he's a vendor in game and sochell twill have to be there for the base game so if he does let's all just uninstall forsaken and he'll be back again
