The worst exotic in this whole franchise, IMO
So out of the 150+ exotics in this franchise I have finally figured out what the worst exotic is. And that exotic is (Drum roll please)
Alchemist Raiment!
Let me explain what it did, when picking up primary ammo you had a chance at getting glimmer 😑
Why would I use this? I could use a ghost or anything else for guaranteed glimmer and use a better exotic.
I went on D1 yesterday and used it I picked up 12 primary ammo packs and only 2 gave me glimmer.
“Well, how much?”
One gave me 8 the other gave 11😑
So instead of using a black wax or a ghost for a few hundred glimmer I wasted an exotic slot for 19 glimmer!!!
Ok that’s my rant I wanna know what you people think the worst exotic is. The rest of this is how I would fix it if it returned
Ok, first make it where we are guaranteed glimmer from all ammo
Kinetic: 5-8
Energy: 11-15
Power: 20-30
Second, make glimmer from all sources increased by atleast 75%. (chest, etc)
Third, give it the ability that when getting a token or material there’s a chance to get a second or maybe a third
Lastly, this one is optional, make it give a 15% exp boost
Now that is an exotic I would use, especially in public events

2 Respuestas100% incorrect. Alchemist Rainments allowed Sunsingers to save their self-res while being able to pick up orbs and regen health off of them thanks to the Infusion perk. The Aeon exotics are far more situational.

More sleeper/raze lighter/spindle is a good thing. The fact one chest can do it means you don’t have to re-min / max your stats. There is more than just 1 perk on it. The stag is far far worse.

5 RespuestasSee...you seem to be forgetting about dunemarchers. Sure, they were nifty in Destiny 1, but on titans it was pretty pointless. Let me explain: It's an exotic that increases Sprint speed and turning speed, which was all well and good...except you were titan skating more often than not so Sprint speed didn't matter, and moving faster while aiming down your sights was about as useful as radiant dance machines were... Nvm, it goes to radiant dance machines...wait, I'll one up it! No back up plans. They were a cool exotic, but they actually were garbage. You HAD to use a shotgun to trigger it's perk in year 2, where as in year one it was melee only. Shotguns are nice, but I personally hated shotguns in Destiny 1 so they were a very pointless exotic to me.

I mean, the original Dragon's Breat was godawful, then there's original Thorn, on top of the Aeon's barely being worth a damn besides looking decent and being used for cheap light level padding.

Alchemists Raiment had it's place especially in Kings Fall Raid for Sunsingers, sitting on their Resurrection super indefinitely, because it gave you Grenade and Melee energy on Orb pick-up with full Super You have focused only only part of its signature perks. It was very useful for Sunsingers vs Oryx at the end of KF with all the orbs in the middle, AND it gave max special or heavy ammo Aeon friendship gauntlets are easily the worst ever Exotics - there are 3 variants and you get about 5 per week from Milestones

9 RespuestasHow about the Mechaneer's Tricksleeves? Somehow, Bungie got the idea that faster reloading is an exotic level perk. Don't forget Young Ahamkara's Spine. Talk about a turkey. Longer Trip Mine duration? LOL. Oh, goody. My weak useless Trip Mine stays around a little longer. Oh, but it marks the target it doesn't kill. Woo-hoo. It takes a special level of stupid to create garbage like this. Stuff that wouldn't even qualify as Legendary in Destiny 1.

Personally I would get rid of the glimmer function all together and have it recharge 1/4 grenade for landing your charged melee, get 1/4 melee charge from hitting and enemy with grenade, and fully charge both upon entering super.
