Because he’s got nobody to answer too . Activson?! They like the cash grab.
Edit that podcast smith just did wasn’t to my knowledge at time if post. But still no pass this jerk is only acting because he literally has choices left. Others are getting involved. He’s jumping on the (listening to the players) train before he’s left holding the white flag of his ship that is about to sink

6 RespuestasPlease go easy, he’s frustrated and I understand that. I too miss D1 sooooo gd much, it honestly hurts. But monster, they really care, just listen to that podcast. I know it doesn’t help and I too wish they’d stuck to the original 10 year plan...kinda like warframe. But they didn’t, and that’s where we are. But they care.

So let me get this straight. We are suffering because luke Smith wont admit he messed up with d2. So if he did, we wouldn't be suffering and the game would be good? Then you realize he did, and your response is basically, who cares, it means nothing. Then you go on to say, he answers to no one. Aka he has no boss, which is false. Hes not the CEO. Everyone reaches a point in their life where they realize they need to work on themselves. They've lost themself over something unimportant. They lose sight of reality and realize they dont know how things really work. I think you're there. Get smart

Ugh. I would've agreed with this post until I saw you're one of those people. Your title and original post was fair but once you figured out he actually did, which was your original post complaining he hadn't. You then change your mind and say its not good enough anymore and look for other things to bitch about. Which honestly just makes me think you're spreading negativity for attention and approval off of others. Don't get me wrong I'm not defending luke Smith at all, as he did pretty much ruin the game. But you lost all credibility in my eye's after that stunt there.

And no I will not link website's use Google like the rest of us do to get our information.

8 Respuestas"We all", please don't lump me in with your generation snowflake mentality. I don't suffer, if I don't have enjoy the game, I move onto something else to occupy my time. Someone telling me that they screwed up isn't going miraculously make the game better.

Bump/comment in case this gets moved to feedback.

1 RespuestaAll I see is recreational complaining from you. Are you in action to resolve the issues? One of course is to just walk away but if you do that then completely walk away without comment, otherwise provide critical thinking for solutions instead of just complaining.

One person did not blow it.

2 RespuestasD1 was good and the few good ideas they had I guess wasn’t popular to the masses. D2 isn’t good imo, they catered to the masses and they didn’t make pvp independent which is holding back pve. Vanilla dragons breath would probably be the best exotic in D2.... Just look at some of the rare weapons in D1... Crazy stuff

4 RespuestasHe actually did admit it back in December on a podcast. He and others at Bungie said , “we made the wrong game.”
-
4 RespuestasPretty sure there was a Podcast in which he admits the direction they took was a mistake.
-
9 RespuestasActivison has nothing to do with it. Bungie signed a contract with Activison to produce so many games and DLC’s over 10 years. Luke Smith does have to answer to bungie CEO ( won’t mention his name if you do you get blocked) but he is ultimately responsible as the leader of bungie. All I really want is a response of why we are at the place right now with D2! But I know I will never get it.
-
Pete Parsons < Luke smith answer's to him not activision activision is just the publisher not the creator
-
Luke Smith saying he's sorry will not make D2 magically better.
-
I can't take you seriously when you contradicted yourself so hard. "He has no one to answer to so he won't change". "Alright I wasn't aware of this podcast announcing change but still that's only Because he has to". Sounds almost like he did and does have someone to answer to... lmao

Does anyone have a link to this Luke smith podcast?

He's actually quite honest about the fact that they made the wrong game, and how it was the wrong game. Plus every one ALWAYS forgets Mark Nosworthy. They always want their pound of flesh from Luke Smith....but Nosworthy always seems to get a pass. Smith is not PERSONALLY responsible for where this game is. BUNGIE screwed this up.

6 RespuestasLmao. Suffer? Wow, you must have an Incredible life if that’s what you call suffering. Try being a red headed roofer in August.

Personally, I think this game was sacrificed due to time constraints for a better Destiny 3. I just think they didn't expect the community to be this passionate about Destiny as a whole. yeah, every game has their following but Destiny has become a cult almost. They just didn't factor that in when they decided to sacrifice D2. There is a video discussing this very topic. It's an interesting watch. Question people should be asking, was Destiny 2 designed to fail?

2 RespuestasI don't blame him. Look at the original D2 stuff where the one guy (I can't think of his name) said that he would raid with Luke and Luke would be like "Dude, what's going on with your subclass, put on this or that perk, why are you using that exotic here?" and he found it confusing (and embarrassing obviously being a dev and not understanding his own game)... So they dummied it down. Clan engrams with raid and trials rewards are a joke. Getting to max power through public events is a joke. It's bad players complaining about things being too hard. "I can't raid because I don't have a Gjallarhorn" I didn't have an issue raiding without one until I hit 600 hours... "Thorn is broken" it's a quest.. Anyone could have farmed chests on Mars to get it. "shotguns" NERF. "icebreaker" nerf. "the last word" nerf. The problem is that they keep adhering to why casuals don't want to play the game as opposed to why the fanbase DOES. Luke Smith's involvement is done by the time these issues are being "fixed". It's not his fault. Is he an ass for saying the emote and throw money at the screen thing? Yeah but... He makes good raids and I like raids.
