I’m gonna get Destiny 2 soon (gonna buy the base game before expansion pass so I can make sure I like this game).
What would you guys, people who actually play, recommend I do? Currently I can’t decide whether I’m Titan or Hunter (sorry warlocks but their armor don’t look as cool as the others) and whether I’m a hit-and-run or tank. I need some insider tips(no spoilers)

1 RespuestaEditado por GrayWulf25: 3/27/2018 4:06:40 PMAfter today's update, the Arc Blade Hunter will be a good class to begin with. I have one of each class. In the first two years of D1 I mained a Titan and used the other two sparingly, mostly to triple rewards for Raids, IB and Nightfalls. Final year of D1 I went Warlock main for a change In D2, to my own surprise I die less and do better in general on the Hunter. So don't listen to the negativity, and try it for yourself. It's not a bad game, just not as good as D1 for end-game and long-term play. The initial phase of levelling up, new worlds and the campaign is pretty good. So don't rush it, take your time and try the side- Adventures and Lost Sectors as you progress, they are visually great, the art and music is exceptional

1 RespuestaI always use a titan first. Striker is so fun!! My best tip would be watch your mobility, resilience, and recovery stats. I like high resilience and recovery. There are some good youtube videos to explain that.
-
1 RespuestaHold onto any blue (rare) scout rifles you find during the story. You'll need them for a quest once you finish the story.

im a new palyer as well, started 3 days ago am now almost done with story and i can say choosing hunter was my best decision, easy to master, quick killer. im using a gunslinger ^^, tho don't treat this game like a normal mmorpg, just cause u got a hunter doesn't mean u won't end up using normal asault rifles and such, i use a asault, a revolver, a rocket launcher ^^ however once im compelted with story ill also max lvl the other 2 classes, i think i would enjoy the warlock also alot hehe. love the game so far especially the story

Tips for someone starting out (revised) Don’t

be hunter its an easy class to "master". run 10 mobility 6 resilience 0 recovery (pre 27th update) you may be able to stack into other stats since we will be able to go faster. arc class; easy mode nades that track and ones that chain to other enemies that just hitting people regen the nade. void class has invis and 2 types of nades. dodge can regen melee so you can get that smoke nade faster. Has exotic that lets you jump higher in the air faster than most people have their controller sensitivity setup to be able to look up that fast, use a smg...antiope, or mida mini tool, but you should test others to find your preference. Over all Hunters area easy class to "master".

1 RespuestaTip #1 join an active clan so you can get raid and Trials loot every week without doing the raid or Trials!

4 RespuestasEditado por A Blues fan: 3/27/2018 4:07:35 PMI'd go with a Hammer of Sol Titan for PvE and a Void Hunter for PvP. Keep the following weapons if you get them:
Mida Multi Tool (Exotic kinetic scout rifle) for PvP Nameless Midnight (Legendary kinetic scout rifle) for PvE Better Devils (Legendary kinetic handcannon) for PvE/PvP Positive Outlook (Legendary energy auto rifle) for PvE Uriel's Gift (Legendary energy auto rifle) for PvP Last Hope (Legendary energy sidearm) Warcliff Coil (Exotic rocket launcher) for PvE Sins of the Past (Legendary rocket launcher) for PvE/PvP (but it's a raid weapon) Curtain Call (Legendary rocket launcher) for PvE (if you can't get Sins of the Past)
But being for real I’m a hunter, born hunter. They’re quick and fun to use if you handle them right. But if you’re in between you’ll probably be a titan just because the apply to so many types of strategies
-
Warlock was my first then titan, I like them both and then the hunter. Just take them all to the farm and decide which one you enjoyed more and go from there to rank up the one you picked.💠

i recommend getting it on disc so u can return it

If you’re on Xbox One and need/want someone that usually always on, HMU. Obviously I must play the shit out of this game because I made a clan and got it to level 5 on my own. Finding a truly active clan that has enough people on was really hard, that’s why I started my own clan. Was part of at least a half dozen clans before I got tired of looking for members to get achievements. I have soloed about everything so far but having active friends can’t be beat. Most(almost all) of my friends list have stopped playing Destiny and it’s about the only game I play so I solo everything I can. If you are looking for a squeaker, then I’m not the teammate for you. I’m far from being a kid, I’m married and work during the day but spend most of my free time playing. Always looking for other diehard players. I have 3 titans, 2 warlocks and a hunter, all are 335 except 1 Titan who’s 334. Yes, 2 profiles. 6 characters grinding every week to get everything done that I can.

Editado por Segrin: 3/26/2018 5:12:36 PMIf you choose hunter, Go with Gunslinger, people always need more gunslingers in PVE, and nightstalker is always useful in PVP ( I play gunslinger in PVP because throwing knife kills= Hatemail, if they message you calling you a prick, you're doing it right. Weapons to hold on to. Better Devils Uriel's Gift Positive Outlook Antiope D Last Hope Sins of the Past Perfect Paradox Curtain Call Mida Multi tool Legend of Acrius (It is worth the hunt) Conspirator QuickFang... If you don't like it, it's still best to hold on to it, They drop pretty randomly from the gunsmith.

2 RespuestasThe thing is you don't have to commit to one or the other, try them all out. Some days I feel like being superfast and punching everything so I play my Titan. Some days I feel like being more tactical and I play as a Hunter. And some days I just want to live forever and I play a Void Vampire. After awhile you may latch onto one Class and work out several different playstyles. But play them all so you know the strengths and weaknesses. Also starting on Tuesday a lot of things could change with the new update. So for awhile even veterans will be running around trying to figure out what is the best weapons. There are some Rapid Fire Pulses and a few Lightweight SMGs I have been holding on to to see how the perform after the update. If you have any questions you can always add me, or if you need help running any of the missions.

1 RespuestaUnfortunately, hunter vs titan is subjective. Neither will play like a traditional tank or rogue/DPS class. It's more about personal preferences on abilities and jumping styles. - If support-based PvE is your thing, you might like the hunter's nightstalker subclass. - If you like to destroy stuff in PvE, you might favor the titan's striker class. - Other subclasses on both have variety worth exploring, but are ultimately less used and/or less effective. If PvP is your thing, either class can hold their own with multiple subclasses. Striker/Sunbreaker are more common in PvP for titans. Nightstalkers w/ invis and Golden Gunners are favored for hunters.

4 Respuestaswell, the best advice I could give you is... don't waste your time, uninstall D2 and go play a better game.

2 RespuestasPurchase Destiny 1 first for a fraction of the price with all the DLC's...So much more content and even better than Destiny 2. But if you're going to get D2 I'd say out of the Hunter and Titan...the Titan is the better class in D2.
