Monster Hunter: World has cutscenes for nearly every mission, a much more rewarding grind, and far more armor sets/relevant weapons than ever produced in Destiny, and the game is a third of the size (about 13 gigabytes)
I haven't played D2 in idk how long, and haven't seen the forums in just as long but coming back here and seeing all the negativity is honestly satisfying since Bungie deserves every bit of it and their shortcomings are inexcusable when Capcom outperforms them in every way imaginable.

2 RespuestasLOL...I started playing Warframe and the amount of loot in that game in just mind blowing....and it's a free game...Why did I ever buy Destiny 2 ???

1 RespuestaI agree but a better comparison would have been how bungie has 700+ employees and capcom doesn't even come close to that. How many gigs a game has doesn't really correlate to how good it is

Their excuse is all the dumb people that preordered the game before they even released game footage or even talked about new features in the game. The old "I put 3000 hours into D1 so I know I'll enjoy D2" mentality killed this game.

9 RespuestasThis is why I didn't understand the OMG posts when Luke Smith tweeted that he was playing MHW. I have not played it but know a few people that have and they love it. But it sounds like a game that people at Bungie should be playing and learning from. However from talking to friends and researching if this was a game for me this here may not be true.
Capcom outperforms them in every way imaginable.
The story in MH while there is rather thin and is more background noise then a solid narrative. Something both games seem to have in common. Combat in MHW is clunky and tedious, going off what I have been told. If anything Capcom needs to go play Horizon Zero Dawn. With all its faults combat mechanics in Destiny is by far the best out there. Well when you are not dealing with lackluster guns and lag. What Bungie can take away from MHW. Rewarding grinds Customization not only cosmetic but play style as well. I guess there is around 125 different builds you can create. Progression system that makes you more powerful, not just a number to chase so you can unlock a activity. Lore that you learn in game that is more than just history. If it wasn't a Action Third Person system I most likely would have picked it up already. But what I left off the list and most likely the reason I will get the game. You can log in everyday and pretty much do something different everyday. Right now Destiny really there is no point to logging in after you complete the weekly milestones. I mean I do because I have fun playing with friends but god the thought of logging in and going ok I have these bounties to finish. I have to go kill the Purple Death Monster of Death to get the last pieces I need for my armor. After I finish that I can finally go Kill the Knobby Head Monster of Crotch Rot island and start working on my next set of armor.

I'd go as far to say that it's Activision. Notice how COD and Destiny have similar dlc outputs. Release a game that is quite honestly unfinished, and then sell the rest with dlc. And I mean seriously? Pay 60$ for a COD game and then buy 20$ dlc packs with only 4 maps each and maybe a zombies map? For real? That couldn't have been in the game before release? And if 4 maps and a zombies map is 20$, how come Destiny's small dlc's are 20$? I personally believe that all of Destiny's 20$ dlc's offer way more than just a few maps to play the exact same game modes on. At this point I think I'm just saying that Activision milks it's partners dry of creativity and development time.

2 RespuestasBALLERINA A good looking woman walks into a bar wearing a tube top. She raises her hand to signal the bartender for a beer, revealing that she does not shave her armpits. Meanwhile, a sloppy drunk on the other side of the bar signals the bartender, "Buy that ballerina over there a drink on me." The bartender replies, "What makes you think she's a ballerina?" "Because," answers the drunken man, "any chick that can lift her leg that high has GOT to be a ballerina."

14 RespuestasIt's hilarious when people try to compare games. Look, if you like the other, then go friggin play the other game. Christ. Where did people develop this stupid obligation mentality. Here's a secret, there is no cool crowd you're missing out on.
