<I do not wish to be human. And effort is having to find the information yourself, gradually. I am programmed to experience a feeling of achievement when completing a task. Studying a subject is pointless for me if I have all the necessary information given to me at once. A suitable comparison would be using a cheat code skip a Champaign in a video game.>
<I can experience emotions, but some are harder to elicit than others, such as love.>
Though it’s not her primary goal or anything, yes, Alice is no exception to the “robot learning to love” cliche.
“Well, since you have no digestive system, I can’t help you. I do have stuff like love potions and other ways of doing stuff like that, but you kinda need to be able to eat it to do it. I can’t help you just feel an emotion, or help you study, unless you want me to directly alter your feelings or something like that.”
-
<I experience emotions in a different form from what organic beings experience. My emotions are sufficient, but are far less complex than those of organics. I am studying organic emotions...> <You heave just given me an idea. Perhaps I should attempt to mimic the workings of organic emotion.>
-
“I could give you a drive that gives an example of several emotions... Because honestly I can’t experience certain emotions either. I’m stuck with a few until I learn them. I’m just learning myself what it is to be a human, too. That’s why I can’t really help you if you don’t accept the drive that will give you understanding of humans. I just can’t get my head around it!”
-
*She shook her head.* <I suppose that means I will have to do it on my own, then. I have adaptive programming which is able to be rewritten by me, I could use that but it would take time.> *Her speech seemed to have become somewhat more naturally patterned. This appeared to be caused by the adaptive programming, but in actuality she had shut off basic non-essential functions while she focused on attempting to remember every detail of the store and its contents. It was still unsuccessful, which was not common for her.* *Alice scratched her head despite the fact it was made of metal then crossed her arms.* <Pets... Many people keep pets. Maybe I’ll get one? It could help me to understand companionship with an animal. Those squirrels I brought home didn’t want to be my companions and I had to release them.>
-
“Oh, I can totally help with that! What kind of pet are you on the lookout for? I have dogs, cats, birds, Eldritch horrors from another dimension, maybe you can take some of the living meatballs and eyeballs and learn about conflict while learning about the care and how to maintain a relationship between two beings! Maybe one day you’ll find an end to their conflict, I haven’t even figured out why they fight each other yet! You just say what type of pet you’re looking for, I’ll set you up!”

-
“Well... I have every breed of cat to ever exist, undead versions of those breeds, robotic breeds, and just regular old synthetics!”
-
<Does that include typically non-domesticated species as well?>
-
“It includes everything. Any feline, I can make you right here on the spot! I don’t keep things that need food in storage, unless they’re one of the Lil Gods! They require little to no upkeep!”
-
<Hmm... Perhaps a caracal, then. I am interested in these mini gods too, though.>
-
“Well, you only get one for free! Do you want it to be male or female?”
-
*She ponders the question for a second.* <A male.>
-
“Alright, turn around for a second please!”
-
<I can still “see” you with my back turned. Would you like me to temporarily stop echolocating?>
-
“No, that’s fine! It just adds dramatic flare if you turn around! You wouldn’t be able to see it anyways if you were looking at me!”
-
<Okay, if you insist.> *She turned around.*
-
She would hear a massive crunch, a squishing noise, and then some meowing and splashing. She felt a liquid lap at her feet, a dark crimson. For some reason, what happened behind her was unable to be determined at all, just that it had. “You can turn around!”
-
*She turned around and stepped away not wanting what was probably blood to stain her fur.*
-
The Professor’s right arm was a mangled mess now, looking like ground beef crushed into a general shape, stringed together with bits of blood. There was a puddle of blood forming around them, along with the cat she had asked for sitting in the pool, cleaning itself.
-
<What the-?! That’s not supposed to happen is it!?> *She stepped back, clearly startled.*
-
“Well, how else am I supposed to literally create a new life form? Can’t just have noting happen, make something from nature and it wants a price! I’m alright anyways, just gotta go find some... Well you don’t have to worry, you don’t have it! You’re a robot!”
-
Editado por Skatch142: 1/17/2018 3:44:23 PM<Blood? I have a fluid that can be confused for it and I’m an android, not a robot.>
-
“Yeah, actually! Anyways, this one was free so you wouldn’t have to give me any anyways!”
-
*She lifted the exotic cat slowly and played with one of its ear tufts.* <I have a fluid which travels through my body like it is blood. I doubt it’s compatible, nor can I afford to lose any since it acts as my brain... I’m sorry, that was off topic. Tell me about the mini gods.>
-
“That depends on what god you want to get! There’s several different religions I have gods from, and several different strengths!”
