The hell do you want them to do...aim bot clip people around corners like they did in D1? They're completely useable in D2, and you're in denial if you say otherwise.

They have less DPS potential than some scouts. Couple that with the low ammo reserves and there's the major problem. Plus, they flinch too much to be "power" weapons. Take any damage and you probably miss your shot.

Snipers are guaranteed 1 shot to the head, 2-3 body depending on impact stat. No scout rifle in the game can come close to that. At most, it takes 4 headshots with the HIGHEST impact scouts. I still don't understand what people expect from snipers...they already function as they should. I think they're just upset cuz now they can't quickscope snapshot right onto someone's head and win gunfights.

No ones ever got 6 kills with a sniper in d2. Plenty of people have wiped a team with a rocket. I generally get 4-5 kills minimum with one sword brick

No other power weapon, or weapon in general, has a snipers effective range, precision, or precision damage. Everything has a drawback. Get real.
