Anyone else find it strange that Fortnite, a free game, is able to update within hours of community feedback, yet a major issue such as infinite nova bombs in Destiny 2, a $500 million AAA title, “can’t be fixed until after the Dawning”?
This is nothing short of absurd and negligence

Its 15$ or a colored pick axe, thats all i gotta say

7 RespuestasNo, Fortnite's battle royale is so much worse than Destiny. You get like quadruple the stuff per level up if you buy the battle pass. You don't even get a single thing if you don't buy it from level 36-70.
-
Fortnite isn't free. Only a couple modes are free.
-
Uh first off Fortnite isn’t free but fortnite BR is there’s a difference though. Plus D2 is a bigger game with much more things to fix and tweak it’s not like Fortnite where you have X amount of weapons 1 map 100 players per match Just saying don’t be a Dumb Dumb by comparing oranges to apples

2 RespuestasEditado por FataLVisioN_Oo: 1/8/2018 3:03:26 PMFortnite has one map. Therefore it is fun for about 30 minutes. It would be like destiny having only PvP and that PvP took place only on one map. Gets old extremely fast. One map for months on months..... shouldn't there be atleast 2 maps by now that you can pick from? You would think minimum there would be that but nah.
-
You mean Fortnite BR that has one map, a handful of weapon, and is supported by the money made from the base game? Oh, I'm sure the money from Battle Passes doesn't go to funding it either.

There is a significant difference between a single small title and a complete redesign of a huge title. The more complex the title, the more areas for it to break or be broken. An example is your car. You cannot fill your tires without resetting a computer, today. Destiny and Destiny 2 are complex. There are over 700 people working on it. That alone means nothing gets done... Take them and focus on Eververse, nothing really gets done...Voila, Destiny 2, season 2!

Editado por Saxifraga: 1/8/2018 10:59:47 PMANY game other than Destiny fixes stuff in a shorter amount of time. All but "No Mans Sky". But we shouldn't turn this into a Fortnite of Warframe debate. Pople will just derail the discussion and ignore the topic at hand. Bungie is lazy and greedy.
-
7 Respuestaswarframe is free with a non abusive mtx model thats had 22 major updates over the couse of 4 years and made by a studio of 170 people. Yeah, content is hard to make.

Editado por BoomboxCollosus: 1/9/2018 6:00:10 AMNot a Bungie fanboy but Warframe sucks ...like...ALOT. My humble but honest (and very accurate) opinion (to the replys). The level and detail this game is on with the feel and everything entailed is beyond most FPS games. I hate the current situation, but most of these side by side comparisons are not in the same league of content or intricacies or overall scrutiny that Destiny is on. I've criticised Bungie on ALOT of things, but I'm honest. Comparing this to some frivilouse, short term, disc based game is unfair and close to ridiculous. NOBODY would demand from THOSE games what Destiny delivers. OK, for the first time I sound like a fanboy, but that's because there is a gross perspective difference here that compares a grape to an apple tree. it's NOT a 1 for 1 comparison by a continent. Please be remotely realistic with the analogies. just WOW.

*cough* Grand Theft Auto V *cough* it's 2018, the lack of communication and the length of time between updates is absurd. If this were any other software company, folks would've been laid off/terminated.
-
By $500 million game you must mean $60 dollar game.
-
Wow you must be an expert programmer! Either that or you’re just a life noob who doesn’t know anything about anything. My money is on option 2.
-
A free game can't screw things up, then use fixes in the sales drive that push the next paid dlc.
-
You over paid, or you buy way too much silver.
-
bump.. ..Bungie and Activision are both companies of lethargic, bloated greedy lil piggies..
-
3 RespuestasFree? That's a full price game. I work in retail. Seem it. It's $60. It wasn't even on sale.

Editado por DeathBringerZen: 1/7/2018 10:15:52 PMIYou will need to buy the full game and it will almost definitely feature micro transactions of some sort. The base game features loot boxes, so...
-
I would imagine Fortnite will "want" money in the future, Bungo already "have" our money so we can go -blam!- ourselves basically. I've downloaded Fortnite but I haven't played it yet, is it any good?
-
The base game of fortnite is not free, only battle royal and both the base game & battle royal are crap imo.
