If you want to talk about OP abilities then here's some for all classes, not just hunters. To start with the warlock -Health back on every kill with devour -Insane ability cooldown with a certain few exotics -A panic and roaming super in the form of stormcaller with landfall -The literal fastest subclass in the game when in dawnblade (a spot which should be held by the arc strider since hunters are supposed to be agile and fast) -the stupendous amount of sword throws and super duration of stormcaller and dawnblade make goldengun look like a blip compared to their 30 seconds of terror, plus golden gun can't even 1 shot a full health super guardian when using the top tree -the healing rift is a stupendously better ability than a dodge, especially when used with arc souls -the warlock melee is still better than both titan and hunter in the fact that they do not have to lunge, decreasing the time to melee and making it have essentially an easier lock-on Now for titans -thermite grenades deal far too much damage for a zoning grenade, similar to lightning grenades in destiny 1 yet this can be forgiven because the path of travel is clear unlight D1 lightning nades which had a cone that was highly inaccurate -a panic super and a roaming super in the form of fist of havoc, it should be one or the other like novabomb -the titan barricade, both forms, are also much better than a simple dodge. Especially with the fact that walking through an enemy barricade is a quick way to die as the shield deals damage comparable to an SMG with all headshots -pulse grenades slow you when you are inside them, causing them to deal more damage than they otherwise would which makes sense as lightning would affect the muscles but hunters do not have access to pulse grenades and the void grenade that hunters do have does not have this effect -flashbang grenades essentially smoke grenades that deal normal grenade damage rather than slowing the target so any argument against smoke grenades as a titan can be redirected here. If you don't like smoke grenades then counter with flashbangs -hammer of sol and sentinel last 2 to 3 times as long as golden gun and both have range capabilites and both can 1 shot guardians and both have damage resistance, unlike golden gun, and in the case of hammers it can 1 shot other damage resistant guardians, unlike top tree golden gun, plus a hammer of sol user is able to throw more hammers than any golden gun user and there is an explosion after kills which was taken off the golden gun tree in D2 (combustion) -suppressor grenades and everything that they stand for - removing double jump is just too far, I am okay with no grenade usage and no super usage and even it taking someone out of a super as it can be avoided with skill and prediction, but removing the double jump is just too far for the suppression ability Hunters -Skip grenades track very aggressively and effectively make a fight either highly in the user's favor or cause an outright disengagement by the enemy -smoke grenades slow enemies and deals around 50 damage if stuck to an enemy along with blinding them slightly better than a flashbang and removes radar for a small duration -if a nightstalker is able to wombo combo it is a guaranteed kill or multikill if lucky -hunters have the best jump when wanting to utilize the vertical plane quickly in a gunfight -golden gun fires much faster than any other roaming super enabling it to kill more people more quickly if given the opportunity and a skilled player -shadowshot has bloodbound intrinsically, meaning multiple people can die from just 1 person being shot which is not fun for the tethered people -shadowshot knocks a players point of view way out of alignment from where they were looking before enabling the hunter to essentially always get the first shot -snares appear on the radar as enemies -dodge can sometimes be annoying but compared to the other two class abilities it is heavily underpowered (unless used with certain exotics like Gemini jesters or the worm husk crown) things that would be OP on hunters but Bungie made them useless -increased sprint and sneak speed can be had by literally any class with the use of Mida Multi Tool -the better radar on nightstalkers is useless in competitive play as there is no radar in competitive, which if nightstalkers are the most played class then there would be where a large concentration of them with a useless ability -mobility is one of if not the worst stat to spec into for destiny, even more so in PvE mobility doesn't increase sprint speed, nor double jump height, nor sneak speed, just strafe speed which is reduced drastically when aiming down sights.

The nerf squads have been poisoning Destiny since the beginning. Instead of learning different play styles and mastering weapons they call for an immediate NERF. I've held my own playing crucible at times and others got destroyed. We've already had too many weapons/abilities NERFED R.I.P because of the try hards. #getgud.

i don't main hunter (I main Warlock) but i still use hunter with nightstalker because one out of 2/3 subclasses worth using in Crucible (gunslinger and stalker) and it could use a buff more than a nerf, i mean look ar how squishy anything a titan punches becomes or how dead one becomes when a Warlock on any of its 3 subclasses, shoots you with any auto rifle to close distance to immediately slam a palm into your face just to send into which ever region of the astral or ascendant realm they choose. get over it

Funny, I have gone against these night stalkers many times. I really don't see why you are having such issues with them. I mean really, you wanting to nerf anything in destiny 2 is either funny, or sad. Hard to make up my mind on that one.

Why not just...buff other things? You know...buff grenades, buff primaries, fix hit detection, buff the neutral game of other classes. How the hell has Destiny diluted into squirt gun, conga-line team play with abilities that feel more ass than Ron Jeremy's belly button...yet people are still crying for nerfs. Holy shit.

Really, nerf the only hunter subclass that's worth a damn? GTFO! The nightstalker subclass is [i]supposed[/i] to be tricky, elusive, and negating. Just because [i]you[/i] have a hard time with them doesn't mean they need to be nerfed. Buck up and play smart.

Exotics that make the subclass better? No way. Invisibility that barely even lasts and doesn't even work? You must be blind. Titans losing evasive tactics? They were never supposed to be evasive. Moving faster? That's what Hunters are meant to do. Feeling cheated? Go cry in a corner. You have all the best subclasses, period. Best supers, best abilites, everything. You even got a reskinned D1 super while keeping the bubble. Something tells me you did not main a Hunter in D1. They are so much worse in D2 it's not even arguable. Sorry but you are butthurt . Each class has their own triggers and it’s up to you to figure a way around it . There’s no need for a night stalker nerf . Bubble titan for aggressive plays - run synthoceps for melee and get close to opponents pepper them with your kinetic or energy then punch them and get an over shield you also do more damage when more than one person is around. Suppression grenades. You don’t pop a bubble every time you run this class it’s only when you hold the bottoms down. So you can still run a shield but an you have the option of the bubble. Striker is probably the worst rn for pvp other than two grenades, despite that you have to rush into opponents to get kills whilst getting team shot and dying. Sunbreakers are great if you run explosive hammers and incendiary grenades. Don’t be afraid to pop your shield and sneak around it to try and get the kill.
