TAKE 4 PERSON FIRETEAMS OUT OF LOW INTENSITY CRUCIBLE, YOUR RUINING PVP FOR CASUAL PLAYERS. Low intensity crucible should be fireteams of 2 or less.
Add a “Lone Wolf” option for pvp where you can only enter as individual players (not on a fireteam) so that there truly is a low intensity pvp option.
Or... only allow fireteams of two or less into the non competitive bracket.
Currently, 4 person fireteams are ruining the low intensity bracket. Most times, the other “randoms” on my team just instantly drop out as soon as they see we’re going up against a 4 person fireteam. There’s been a lot of games that turn into a 4v1 because of this and it’s completely uncalled for and unbalanced. Other pvp games address this by not mixing premades and PUGs.
Please fix this Bungie by providing a true “low intensity” bracket by separating premade groups from PUGs.

1 RespuestaNo such thing. All PvP is competitive, it's human nature. Winners always try to win. I'm a filthy casual solo blueberry scrub, but I always try to win. Even when faced with overwhelming odds, I fight as hard as I can, and I never quit.
-
Thats because alot of ppl prefer teamdeath match and dominstion style. I for one will not play any game mode like search or elimanation style games. I like to run around too much for those game modes.
-
3 Respuestasmad cause bad... I love facing a 4 man FT , it's the only real challange.
-
4 RespuestasExhibit A of the casualization of D2.
-
Its funny how I fought my clan leader and a whole fireteam of the top clan members in quickplay yesterday, we lost so badly as they all have antiope, atalanta, uriel’s gift, positive outlook, acrius

1 RespuestaSo if it was 6v6 instead it would all of a sudden be better and be different??
-
You telling me that I’m barely trying and still stomping you guys?
-
4 Respuestas"Get Good" and stop crying.
-
yeah non competitive stooped a few weeks ago, when PVP population dropped, only good players are left, doesn't matter if your solo or in a team and choose quick casual playlist still not "casual" sorry
-
Editado por SAMURI JOHN: 1/3/2018 10:54:57 PMI don’t think the reading comprehension skills are very good. OP is talking about the quickplay playlist not suggesting it shouldn’t be competitive it’s just the playlist opposite the “competitive” playlist smh
-
2 RespuestasBiggest problem imo is lack of players. I do check other teams, back in D1, and in quickplay D2, but only when getting stomped. Never did rage quit though, and sometimes it goes well, you manage to win with randoms against a fireteam.

13 RespuestasWhat? Non-competitive "player versus player"? Do you know what "versus" means? Seriously, I'm boggled by this. How would non-competitive pvp work, anyway? Do players take turns shooting at each other? And then congratulate each other after every shot? If you are a non-competitive person, then why would you care how out-matched you are or how badly you get beaten? If you're non-competitive, then you don't care who wins or loses, right? I'm really trying not to be too harsh, but I can't help myself - "non-competitive PVP" may be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Sorry, I really am, it's just... you can't be serious. BTW - I hate Destiny PVP. I play it on occasion to complete challenges and stuff, and I do my best (which is probably somewhat below average), but I really don't care how well I do or whether I win or lose the match... Even so, I'm still "competing" - it's a contest, it is competitive by definition. I just don't get it.
-
4 RespuestasYou seem to care a lot about winning for someone who isn’t competitive.
-
What's "non competitive" pvp? Lol at the end announcer goes "good job everyone, I wasn't keeping track of the score though"
-
'Non-competitive' lol. That's hilarious. I can just imagine the rage from casuals when the 'tryhards' and 'sweaties' dominate any 'non-competitive' game modes :p
-
its called just kick some A$$ already if you want to look at the scenery, go ahead, when your dead you can do a 360 spin and take it all in
-
Bungie hates you and is the authority on competitive fps PvP.

1 RespuestaA combination of poor design and queue naming makes PvP frustrating for solo players. QuickPlay prioritizes fast matching over skill matching. Competitive prioritizes skill matching over fast matching. Organized teams tend to choose QuickPlay because of the shorter time to find a match. Unfortunately, this means solo players have to choose Competitive mode -- with only Survival and Countdown as match types -- if they want to minimize their risk of getting stomped by an organized team. In either case, an organized team of two players sometimes destroys a team of randoms. Often the organized two-man team are good Trials players who enter regular Crucible when the other half of their team is unavailable.
-
1 RespuestaI don't typically pay any attention to the composition of the other team, I just do my best to be the number 1 or number 2 finisher on my team. As a Solo player you can't choose your team, so wins and losses are not high on my priority, I care mostly about my own personal performance. D2 needs Rumble, that way solo players can have 7 people trying to kill them, instead of only 4.
-
It’s fine. I’ve been on several solo teams against fire teams of 3 or more and won.
-
What about those of us who like to run a full squad in pvp just to make the "oblogatory" push for the pvp milestone a bit more bearable? We're not good, we just want the damn milestone 😂
-
Unfortunately since we started with consolidated populations going to split playlists with player population that's tanking daily, the lag and queue times will become a massive issue.
-
3 RespuestasIn d1 i would go into crucible sitting on a bean bag and propping my legs up while in a 6 man fire team. We were all just chilling having fun together. We weren’t actually trying or being sweaty. Just because someone is playing with their friends doesn’t mean they are tryharding.

8 RespuestasI've been playing FPS games for years and in all honesty D2 Quickplay is the sweatiest I've ever played. When I want a break I go into Competitive as a random...
