In total, 11200 Dust for everything you would end up using at one point. For all three characters, that would be 33600 Dust. Divide that by the amount of Dust/Dollar, and you get around 87$ for all of that, but that's assuming the player only pays and does not grind, which players are more likely to do. Out of the 64 people polled, 58 preferred to grind for rewards instead of buying them. If this was averaged, every person would pay around 10.4%, making the final payment of only 9 dollars.

GLITCH PRESENTS cary 4 or 5 ghosts then fill reaiming slots with dawning gift schematics "might also work with just ghosts but havnt tried" once full carry on collecting gifts daily. This advice I'm about to give bungie should be taken. 1. Do not work with any company affiliated with EA. They have better lawyers and you WILL do what they tell you to even if it destroys your companies reputation with the general public. 2. Your screwed. Use destiny 2 as a learning experience. Dont let other companies fund you. You probably could of asked the public for help with developing destiny 2 and it would have been a better game. 3. Try to salavage whatever player base you have left by tapping into the creative juices that made bungie what it is today, this means coming out with an expansion that offers more content than players expected. You need publicity, excuse me, you need positive publicity. 4. Realise that destiny 2 is half of a game and with the introduction of the eververse which was most likely EA and activisions idea and not bungies, was one of the worst things bungie could do. Had you made eververse and extra thing, for people that want to spend money on special items that can only be bought you would have a lot less pissed of people. 5. The lack of any economy or tradable content is just a complete joke, if you realized that people would buy your shit silver if they were making money off your game. ONCE AGAIN MOST LIKELY EA AND ACTIVISIONS IDEA. They dont want people making money off of their product. 6. Realise that destiny 2 was about the money and nothing more, change the attitude towards destiny as a money making thing, into a thing people enjoy doing in their free time. And its all in the name of money. I mean how can the devs be happy with this game? youre a -blam!-ing idiot, do you not realize that ALL purchased items give you no tactical advantage? the mods you can get in game, the medallions and other stuff you can use bright dust to buy, which isn't hard because you get an illuminated engram per level, and with that you get eververse items for FREE which you can dismantle eververse items with. SMH

All Bungie had to do was swap in the Dawning Engram as the 'XP level up' reward. With the 'well rested' buff helping out for the first three. Players win by being able to collect multiple Dawning Engrams per character, all through the event, by playing the activities they want. Bungie win by people grinding away and playing the game. Seems a really obvious way to have handled it if you ask me.

I dont get all the hate..dawning is a fantastic piece to destiny 2's end game content, and the dawning gear and ships are wonderful. Mayhem is back and its a fantastic game mode. I already spent 40 bucks on eververse and i grabbed the whole titan set , excotic ship and the warlock helmet.. thanks bungie

Um, no, you DON'T have to spend real money. Just grind the game. You get XP, XP turns into a "bright" engram, bright engrams give you Eververse items like shaders, sparrows, ships, etc. Dismantle anything and everything you don't want to hold on to. Not a fan of several of the shaders and if it doesn't have "instant summon" or at least a higher speed (anticipating SRL's return) I trash all sparrows, and most of the ships look ugly so I trash most of those, too. And you know what that does? It fills my coffers with this thing called "Bright Dust." Or Silver Dust. Honestly can't remember. Point is you can use that Dust to BUY any and every piece of Dawning armor you want and didn't already get from doing the daily Gift Exchange quests (available three times a day, one for each character). Think you can get a "Dawning Engram" by completing the Mayhem and Strike quests each week on each character as well. And Bungie made sure that EVERY piece of armor went into Tess' "available for purchase" inventory, which means all you have to do is spend the FREE currency you get by dismantling the FREE cosmetic items you get FOR FREE just by... PLAYING THE FECKING GAME. No scam, no money-grubbing. Just play the game. It is that simple. Evefrverse/Dawning items are just as easy (if not easier) to get as anything Xur sells. BOTH require you to just play the freakin' game, delete stuff you don't want to use, and use the FREE in-game currency generated from deleting unwanted items to purchase other items you actually want. So quit your crying and get back to grinding.

If only there was a way to not have to purchase optional useless cosmetic items 🤔
