I wish you could just freely explore the infinite forest to make up for mercury being so small. I originally got the impression you could freely explore the infinite forest. Seriously imagine the potential they could add in the infinite forest. More public events, mazes to figure out, mini bosses that open gateways etc etc.
Who else agrees?
Loving the feedback from everyone and other players ideas

As is, no way whatsoever. Whenever I go in there for a strike or adventure I run through it as fast as poss and get annoyed if I have to kill enemies to open a gate. With changes, such as you propose, sure!

I believe Infinite Forest has potential but Bungie need to make it worthwhile to explore it. Areas in the game are way too empty...lifeless, no surprises, no lucky findings. Bungie should utilize that geometry to hide few loot chests around a map. Add more consumables to pick as well, maybe add a well that would refill your super once.
-
I would be nice if you could go to the infinite forest and end up back in the cosmodrome looking for certain vex.
-
2 RespuestasHere’s my thought. I think it will eventually be used to play Destiny 1 raids and or strikes. Given the reputation of Bungie rehashing content.
my 0.02 🤫
2 RespuestasOsiris:"Come to the infinite Forrest any time you like" Bungie:"Oh we forgot to make him say if you play adventures or strikes you can" Me (IRL):"are you kidding me BUNGIE!"

Editado por Spectre Ronin: 12/14/2017 4:24:12 PMAbsolutely. Should be able to explore it endlessly with chests and boss fights randomly spawning that have loot drops. Too Human had a similar feature where you could endlessly delve into the depths of this mind well where you could farm boss monsters and find chests. Edit: oh and make a really cool super rare event where you can find osiris fighting vex and join him. Then at the end of the encounter he gives you an exotic engram.

If u enjoy destiny horrid pvp D2 is for u, if your a pve player, run!!! Bungie only cares about pvp and ruined every aspect of pve for it.
-
I would love to get lost there.
-
If they were smart they would have made a console where you could chose the time you want to go back to and run through an important event that let you live the "lore" meet new characters from the past with seemingly endless simulations.... It's what I would have done as a developer
-
2 RespuestasThe problem is that the adventure triggers the destination... The random pathing still needs to know which path to put your towards... past or future. Agree though. It would be nice to freely explore the forest, even if it is ultimately pretty small.
-
Not really ! I have run through it about 60 times already. What I really wanted, given that its a place where different areas of time can be explored and all, would have been a portal to a weekly rotation of the old raids maybe? Somewhere we could travel back in time....experience them again with a new level of difficulty.....give us more content and something new each week......maybe even give us some old raid weapons with the ability to random roll?...Maybe even a random old crucible map through another portal door?.......can u see where I am going with this? You feel me Bungie? The possibilities?
-
Nope. There is nothing to explore. It all looks the same and frankly makes no sense. I get a reality engine taking you back in time or future to alternate events but that's the part at the end. The floating blocks is just dumb. If the blocks generated s different terrain like the sands of mars or looked like caverns on the moon then that would be better but I just don't see the point. Majority of players just run to the next gate because it's boring.

2 Respuestas“Infinite “ mi city is bigger
-
I agree; I was surprised when I could not enter the Infinite Forest after completing the Curse of Osiris.
-
4 RespuestasThey should have made it like the Court of Oryx or the Forge from Destiny 1 and have you go in and do a random jumping puzzle, boss, or mechanics based event each time when you go in.
-
I also think they could use it to bring back old locations that you could travel back to. I hope they don’t cast the infinite forest aside and forget about it. I want to revisit it.
-
Would be nice if they made it relevant too.
-
7 RespuestasYes and No. Nothing to explore in there, accept Saint 14 that I know of.
-
It was an over hyped piece of PR. They did a great job selling it.
-
1 RespuestaI'd like to freely explore every zone and planet.

Editado por BADMAGIK: 12/14/2017 2:45:00 PMBingo! I find it strange, Bungie was harping on this assets for OoS, yet we can't even get in there. I mean, put public events or something in there for Christ's sake. I was under the impression, it was procedurally generated. Guess not.
-
I would like that!
-
Why? The place is boring level design.
-
Yea pls!
-
Why? It's trash and a missed opportunity. Like the sequel and Bungie.
-
Or even better the past and future should be patrol areas
