I wish you could just freely explore the infinite forest to make up for mercury being so small. I originally got the impression you could freely explore the infinite forest. Seriously imagine the potential they could add in the infinite forest. More public events, mazes to figure out, mini bosses that open gateways etc etc.
Who else agrees?
Loving the feedback from everyone and other players ideas

With how they were going about the infinite forest on the streams I genuinely thought that it was some like infinite horde mode dungeon that gets harder as you progress. Not just a bloody bridge that some times goes left or sometimes go right.
-
A loop that returns you to the gate you start at after ten or so blocks. Each time you start around again the diffculty goes up. Die or fall off you start at the beginning again. High tier bosses after 5 or 6 runs on the loop.

1 RespuestaNot really, when you been through it once or twice it becomes bland and repetitive,,, basic coding it looks to me!!! Rushed out half finished, lazy, tired game design

2 RespuestasThe infinite forest is an infinite fail....there is not enough content to even justify going back in there

5 RespuestasThey could've made it into an endless horse mode

18 RespuestasEditado por Swift: 12/14/2017 5:11:02 PMconsidering the Infinite Forest is essentially a vex simulation, i really hope they unlock its true potential. All the lore we've been asking for could be done here. We could fight along the guardians that first entered the VoG. We could go with Eris Morn's fireteam to fight Crota. We could see the creation of Thorn and Red Death. We could fight along the Iron Lords on their battle with Siva and Rasputin. Battle of Six Fronts Twilight Gap etc So much unused potential.. like the rest of the game.

That’s what they made it look like. We could travel to the past, present and future at will. But we can only repeat the same missions just different variations of them. Huge missed opportunity so far, but like deej always says stranger things have happened. I just wish they would already.

If the vex have played through infinite war games to work out the way to win Then why as Guardians can we roam around without being faced by 100's of Urzoks & Ogres, Kell, Archons, Randall, Omnigul and her wizards, all the Cabal champions in a legion, the Vex minds, hydras, Crota, Oryx and the Taken Champions with sword bearers and mega lieutenants and thousands of their cannon fodder - all smashing us en-masse and kicking our ass! .....Making us realise that there's real evil on its way and we have a long way to reach that cap!

I want infinite mode where next level is harder than previous and rewards based on how far you can go. And ladder for solo/duo/trio rankings.

Editado por zNapSack: 12/15/2017 6:01:25 AMGreat idea as it could potentially allow us to visit the past as mentioned by others below. They could possibly even simulate D1, although that may be asking too much. ;)

6 RespuestasBut exploration is an adventure.
So much potential just from the name alone. Forest could get thicker the deeper you venture in, the light from the sun slowly fading into speckles before the trees snuff it out entirely. Enemies becoming more powerful as you go in further with a few chests, hidden passages, long abandoned bunkers, and rare boss encounters sprinkled in for fun and more desirable loot. Could even have a map feature to let you mark your trail as you progress. Would be best to start early, it'll help to know how to get back to a landing zone before getting lost in the woods. Imagine visibility being reduced to the length of an outstretched arm as darkness closes in around you, the muzzle flash of a teammate's weapon barely able to peirce the void of light. You hear the call and growl of some monstrous wild animal, unable to place the source of the sound. Then you hear more calling in response. You're in too deep to call in your ship, so fight hard because deaths beyond the safety zones will boot you back to orbit, and loot items must be held for three consecutive minutes without death or until they decide to leave the forest.
No public events in the forest area, but in the "past, present, future" areas. 2 adventures or so for each area. Could give lore, character back stories, even a cheap way to "recreate" stories from other areas that you can't rlly go in depth in (twilight gap/major battles/etc) Add patrols to it. Make one a special type of horde mode. ONSLAUGHT: Upgradable patrol up to 3x. Level 1: ten waves, 9 standard, one boss. Beat all 10 upgrade to level two Level 2: ten more waves, frequent upgraded enemies, mini boss on every 3rd wave (3,6,9) major boss on 10th wave. Beat this, upgrade to 3 Level 3: ten more waves, more upgraded enemies, final wave has 2 bosses. Scale the loot to match. Blue>legendary>exotic Could throw the eververse exotics in there as a way to earn them. Just my idea.

Why would you want to explore it? It's the same crap over and over.
-
Prefer prestige adventure. Team wipe= start over.
-
Minimally I’d like to go back to the prettier, past Mercury with all the grass/plants!
-
No we explored the entire thing already when we did the campaign.
-
-blam!- no it’s boring af.. adventures for me are more interesting
-
I wish I could avoid the infinite forest entirely. It somehow manages to feel even more repetitive than literally repeating things.
-
4 RespuestasExplore what? It's just square blocks or shooting galleries. What annoys me more is that you can just run through each block as long as the gates are white without shooting anything. It should be you need to kill all enemies before advancing
-
Let's use the simulation to go back right before the original tower was destroyed and get all our fav D1 loot back, lol.
-
Considering how small Mercury is, of course, I already cannot wait for Tuesday because I want to grind materials but Mercury is a joke.
-
1 RespuestaShrek dies in The Last Jedi trying to save donkey.
-
Definitely, that could make up for the void of content in the dlc.
-
-blam!-...... No.
-
This is badly designed , pointless , and loot system is bad if you just farm killing monsters , by not doing your milestones .
