Please don't nerf Prometheus Lens!
Because i still haven't acquired it and it looks like one of the few TRUE exotic weapons that is fun to use!
Same goes for the Colony!
Edit; making Prometheus a power weapon is also an option!
Edit2; why does everyone think that there is only PVP in Destiny? I'm not talking about PvP. For PvP it is broken, everyone can see that, but they need to seperate it from PvE and leave it alone.

If it says as energy then it should be nurfed in pvp. It is op. It should be made a power weapon.

Nope, it is broken. Most of the people who don't want it to be changed are those that usually do not fair well in PvP. The TTK on it is way too high. Pretty much doubling to tripling the kill speed of every other Kinetic/Energy weapon in the game. Once the weapon is adjusted, most of the people who are taking advantage of it now will go back to not playing PvP.

9 RespuestasExotic doesn’t equal powerful/overpowered. Exotic equals unique and cool. That gun can be unique and cool without breaking the game. And technically it wouldn’t be a nerf considering the gun is literally broken and DeeJ tweeted about it.

I did not buy Destiny or Destiny 2 for PVP ( and I suspect that I speak for the majority ) so it baffles my mind that Bungie is allowing PVP to dictate every single weapon nerf and the current weapon class restrictions.

I'll preface this by saying I havnt gotten it yet, and was floored the first time I was MOWED by it... Never thought I'd say this but maybe a busted gun is what this game needs right now? Maybe?

1 RespuestaIt isn't all that great in PvE. I used it last night for a few hours (just to show off I had it, not going to lie). It is better than Coldheart for killing the random adds but for something like Calus the Coldheart was still better. I thought the heat wave might pick up additional damage nodes and hit like a continual exploding round but I didn't see that happening (unless the numbers are hidden). If it really is just a bug, fixing that is hopefully enough. A nerf on the PvE side would actually make this gun garbage.

Just got it yesterday as my first new Exotic. I have good luck..the Gjallarhorn was my first exotic gun in D1.

They aren’t nerfing it at all, it’s not op or anything but bugged for pvp only, it’s not being changed just fixed for pvp since that’s where the issue is occurring. It’s not going to be shit it’s going to be fixed to what it’s meant to be

1 RespuestaSolution is so simple. Lock it out of PvP. For those who need a complex explanation. If this gun gets nerfed no one in PvP would use it which will have the same result as it being locked out of PvP lol. Let the PvE side have some type of fun in this game just for once.
