The nerf to the shoulder charge distance basically sums up how tone deaf they are. Destiny 2 feels so much slower, clunkier, and just overall weaker than Destiny 1 ever did. No movement, weak weapons, a terrible weapon system and just overall another half baked game that we are going to have to wait 3 years for something resembling the content that we should be getting with launch titles.
Does this impact the game a lot? no but it further cuts down on mobility in this game which is already a far cry from the ability to titan skate. That should have been embraced like rocket jumping was in quake or unreal as a cool, community found thing. Instead they nerf it, forcing us into this slow, plodding, boring way to play the game.
This update has no meaningful changes other than ways to get the static rolled gear faster, buy more cosmetic stuff, and still have no real depth to the progression systems or rankings 4 years later. It doenst address any of the major power feeling complaints that many people have, nor does it address this, as Sc Slayerage put it, suck ass weapon system.
Bungie is tone deaf with their patches and balance changes. They make content that lasts two weeks, roll in the money from idiots (i'm including myself in that) and then keep on making pretty looking content that lacks absolutely any depth. Make set loadouts for PVP that disable weapon perks, add random perks back, give us our movement back, and get rid of this suck ass weapon system

D2 has a shoulder charge?
-
Its the d1 trowingknife nerf all over again.
sad about it
-
agree ..... shouldn't have been any nerfs only buffs

Editado por Iron Wu: 12/6/2017 8:40:20 AMit is a dumb nerf I mean I hardly got any kills with it, it was so situational. if they wanna nerf it so it takes more skill and u need to get in closer than it should OHK
-
Yeah wtf? How god damn unnecessary was that? Why not just remove everything that makes the game fun to play? Being able to shoulder charge to get around quickly is fun and it doesn't hurt anyone... You can't possibly tell me that Shoulder charge was making Titans unfair or something?
-
Tone deaf? Bad choice of words.

16 RespuestasEditado por D-Von, Kell of Tables: 12/6/2017 7:08:53 AMTitans can't have the best of every world and this is Bungies way of letting the community know this. Edit 1: World is a bad analogy. By world I am meaning the stats mobility, resilience, and recovery

Go away.
-
They should also nerf sliding and add 30 cm of corn syrup to the floor to slow down the game even more.
-
Well, you Titans have speed-warning spikes on your screen. When you see them, you're ready to start a long drift (cue: Initial D song....)
-
3 RespuestasBonus: if your lift runs out, it also doesn’t give you any forward momentum anymore, you drop like a stone while charging a half-inch forward. So forget those 3+ years of distance gaging that included that last burst of speed, or the muscle memory clutch saves when you miscalculated a jump.

6 RespuestasShoulder charge distance when using it to attack a target has not changed. This change was made because titans have too much speed and agility for being a tanky class. Strikers are faster than hunters, and with shoulder charge could outrun anyone in PvP.

9 RespuestasI like it when you said two words about your problem and the whole other paperlist was about how bad CoO is. Shoulder charge was nerfed because it was imbalanced, dont complain about imba stuff that was tuned down abit to be on pair with secondary tree. Thus, granades were not fixed, as your exotic helmet that gives you, titans, practically endless melee and grenades with 2-3 seconds cooldown. You just have to be in a trash pack to make this happen, which happens alot. No other exotic except probably hunter's boots dont have this power. Karnstein Armlets, for example, were nerfed to the ground, so that's -1 of 2 warlock legendaries that can be considered "good", not even "awesome". Thus, i agree about movement, i still dont understand how is it possible that characters strafe so slowly. Stop pointless whining and complaining. Be reasonable.

Crap gear to good gear so idk what to tell you bro

1 RespuestaI thought they nerfed it’s distance if you don’t have a target?
-
I used it for movement shit didnt one hit kill if anything hunters be breaking ankles when running away like they on some spider man shit.😅😂
-
Well nice to know I have no reason to put in the game again. They officially ended my desire to play. What a shame.
-
Poor (us) titans 😞
-
This sucks more than I thought it would!!!!! Shoulder Charge already sucked. All it was good for was mobility. Shit.

3 RespuestasEditado por TeddyBundy: 12/6/2017 3:02:14 AMI finally give up. I played the DLC, saw everything important except the new raid part (which I‘m going to play once). I have finished the game...again...after one night of playing. But that isn‘t even a huge problem since I expected something like that. The final straw was the blatant double nerf of the only subclass I‘m playing: Striker. Shouldercharge makes me even slower, Pulse Nade is weaker. They KNEW we all wanted and still want to be faster and more powerful...and yet they nerfed the last bit of shit out of my subclass. Thanks for listening, Bungle.

wtf they nerfed shoulder charge mobility is beyond me. It's not even strong in pvp anyways?? wtf?

1 RespuestaWhen the top change in patch notes wasn't drastically reduced cooldowns across the board I knew people would be upset, I know I was

2 RespuestasThey nerfed shoulder charge? Lmao it was already useless.
-
5 RespuestasCannot defend Bungie on this one, STUPID idea, it already sucked. What are you guys thinking?
-
5 Respuestaswhy would they even give a shit about the distance?it was almost totally useless now anyway because it can't ohk in PvP and does crap for damage in PvE.
