before its release I was happy to pay 80 pound for the game and DLC thinking this would be the only game i buy until newyear. boy was i wrong i was ahardcore d1 player and last week bought assassins creed origins and haven't looked back since what a game!
I am so disappointed I wasted the money thinking this was going to take off where d1 ended...
Anyone else feel disappointed? will you go back to try the dlc?
or have you given up completely?

At the end of the day, no. I'm sure I'll get enough enjoyment out of both DLC's to warrant the purchase. Despite D2's faults and my gripes with the game I still got a lot of great playtime out of it and a lot of great playtime with my friends. I'm sure the same will be said with the DLC's.
-
Ok. Bye.
-
I'll play the DLCs, but if they fail to impress me I won't be buying the next game
-
I'll play the dlc just because it's cheap. It gonna bring some content in the end, good or bad the game needs something.

9 RespuestasNope 250 hours in worth every penny.

Not really. I played D1 from day 1 to the last day. D2 has not been on for a week now and might not go back on until the expansion but I feel compared to other forms of entertainment I have definitely had my money's worth. It's less than the cost of a night out that lasts 6 or 7 hours but I have maybe 100 hours in D2.

I regret not buyng it. It was 30 (90 full game with DLCs), now its 35... guess i'll have to skip that MC... LOL.

Didn't get season pass I'll wait for review when it is out

17 RespuestasI’d say this is the biggest let down in gaming for 2017.
-
Not really. Though Destiny has definitely become "just another game" for me at this point. I'm definitely not investing as much time as I used to. Granted I'll still enjoy the expansions, I'm sure. It's just not my go-to game anymore.
-
After vanilla destiny I decided to never pre order any game. And it turned out to be the right move for destiny 2. Just wish more people did that and then maybe the game would have been better.
-
1 RespuestaYes, most definitely. Wish I'd just got the base game now, but it was Destiny, and the first game's DLC, while not amazing, was still good thanks to the raids. The raid in this is trash in comparison to anything in D1. Even Prison of Elders was more fun to play than Leviathan....

I didn't buy the dlc but thanks to D2 im never going to buy another game unless i rent it first.
-
Very much so.

The shiny new ip polish on this flaming turd has finally worn off. Game isn't much different to what you've been playing these last few years.

4 Respuestasno, Destiny 2 will be a great game just like Destiny 1 was towards its end begining of Destiny 1 was similar to begiging of Destiny 2 it doesn't make it "right" or "good" or the way things should be done, but it is what it is I'm not sure how many Veteran D1 beta players are still around, but I was there logging over 2k hours before TTK came out through thick and thin, D1's end game originally was the same as D2 launch, so just wait

3 RespuestasSadly I caved in and bought the expansion with the game . I had reservations about the game beforehand , although I could never have envisaged how badly the design and how short the game has become. Grind is gone and sometimes that's a good thing but in destiny 2 case there's no repeatability about almost everything . I won't be surprised that the two expansions will be long lived and become stale very fast.

I wanted to buy that version, but i could not buy it in my country (i only buy physical) so i bought the base game. I was very cynical about buying it, but a bunch af friends i play with got it so i also did, they all quit playing after a month.... Now im glad i didnt because im not getting it anymore, no friends, no fun and i already had my questions with some things from d1 and now its just proven that its not a game for me anymore. Also is there more people who find it very coincedencial that bungie post a statement about "fixing the end-game" and within days teases the dlc? More and more im getting convinced that is a marketing strategy and not an error. Lack of things to do i think is the plan to push dlc. They also did it similar in d1 with the upgrading materials, that got updated when dlc dropped making the old stuff redundant and useless (legendary energy, acendent energy, basically the same but one is form vanilla d1 the other form DB). I'm sad that one of the teams i loved, the f*** makers of halo! Got to this, and for the people thinking it just somthing thats popped up, it around for a while: https://kotaku.com/the-messy-true-story-behind-the-making-of-destiny-1737556731 Posted this a couple of times, hope it helps understanding the struggles we saw/see in destiny. For the peeps that are getting it, hope its worth the money and you guys enjoy it!

Yeah this game sucks. (Haven't seen that in awhile.)

Dude..you have no idea. I regret so much getting the gold edition... There I was saying " Bungie figured already the sweetspot for the game. ..Lets give it a chance" No more bungie..😞

2 Respuestas
does anyone regret buying the DLC with the game?
*Looks at the 0 upvotes* Guess not OP

I had faith in Bungie that D2 would be a big improvement from D1.....which I did enjoy. It was faith misplaced. I sure as hell don't know exactly what went wrong but I definatly do regret getting the digital expansion with the base game. Was Activision to blame by rushing Bungie to shovel out an incomplete game? Were the game devs simply out of touch with the player base? Did greed corrupt the decision making process? I don't know the answer but I sure as hell know one thing for a certain fact....me and a lot of my friends that used to play Destiny religiously have bought new games and moved on. That atleast is undeniable truth.

I'm just glad I did not spend the Extra for it. Until I see Bungie has fixed the current simple issues in the game (for example mass dissemble of shaders or other items, viewing Challenges BEFORE I get in an Activity, Chest Cool Down such that opening Caydes 4,800 Glimmer Chest give me nothing, etc. etc.) then I'm out.

1 RespuestaSame boat in every way as you are man. Been loving origins not even touched destiny any more, which saddens me. Only even gonna play dlc cuz i bought deluxe edition with season pass.
