It doesn't seem like just a small number people are getting it either. I'm seeing new posts on the forum about this every day. Maybe it might be tricky to fix, but it can't be that hard to actually reproduce this bug for the Q/A team, right? Its just a shame to see a game with such good gunplay marred by such a headache of a glitch on a platform where gameplay smoothness is so important. Please fix this Bungie!

I started experiencing this issue EVERYWHERE! Even as soon as the game launches on the character select screen. My FPS is solid 75, but my mouse chugs and is choppy like crazy. I could barely play the game when this started happening yesterday. What is the cause??

Hi , I'm having the same issue here too, I've been tweaking and tweaking to see if I can fix it , been thinking it was my monitor , and after reading this thread I realize there's something else going on, my system specs are below: i7 6700k @ 4.6ghz 16gb ddr4 mem at 3600 mhz auros gtx 1080ti xtreme @ 150% power target and 100% on the voltage core Acer predator x34 with gsync on Destiny 2 game ready nvidia drivers The framerates are there, it's just the game keeps becoming choppy and very tough to be able to play through for me, hope they find a fix / patch

These are not performance drops and "hitches". Destiny 2 has the worst stuttering I have ever seen in a pc game, period. And it is not performance drops. I have a solid 60fps that never drops but the game is so choppy, it stutters so hard after about a minute or two tops of play that it is unplayable. Get it right before you post and fix the game. this is unacceptable and appalling at how long it is taking you to fix the worst problem any pc game can have which is bad stuttering. FIX the problem, don't lessen it. COMPLETELY FIX IT.

This is on Xbox as well. Since launch!! FPS drops and stuttering during Public Events. Please adress the consoles as well. When will that get fixed?
