  • And you just invented statistics i see. How can you judge the game hours of the players that are rightfully complining with a mediocre product? Why are you excusing a multimillion dollar company with enough time to make a decent product with " rushed by headlines ". Perfection? Nobody is asking for perfection. We are merely asking for at least the same quality and contented of destiny previous installment. Destiny 1. I work on software development projects. If we miss a deadline and launch a faulty incomplete software its on us. Its not the consumers/ the users of the software that should be blamed and hated on. Whatever the deal was with Activision it was accepted by Bungie and they got paid. We also paid for a product which was chopped down and will be sold to us vias DLC. That is certainly unfair. I asume you use cellphones. Do you think its rational for the next andorid, IOS release to be worst than previous ? Ofcourse not. Do car models regress in technology and features each year? Certainly not. In the case of video games, sadly. The best we can do before we pre order is to trust the company and maybe try a beta. Companies such as Activion know that, thats why they try so hard to get people to preorder games. Destiny 2 only sold copies because of what Destiny 1 was. Even players that did not play D1 most likely bought D2 because of the success of D1. Its basic marketting behavior. What i am trying to say is that there is no excuse for how the release of D2 was handled. Its a bad game , period. Some people can deal with it an actually enjoy it, some of us dont and we make use of the forum to express or dislike. Fair and square. But honestly, there is no excuse for Bungie or Activision. Its not the first year of D1 where the game was new and mistakes where made. Its been 3 years and all the feedback was given and implemented. They chose to make us buy a mediocre game and sell us the rest via DLC. Lets not aprove this kind of behavior.

  • The only way game companies will understand and get the message is if everyone stops buying dlc which will never happen. I agree more should have been done as it's year 3 but I think the game is done well there's just not enough to do everyone is entitled to their own opinion but when everyday there's the same post about the same things it gets monotonous to me

  • Yeah. Its true. Really the only way is to financially impact companies. Sadly consumers hardly do so. I for once bought both the game and the DLC's which i regret. I wish i could take my money back. But i fell prey to marketting, hype and honestly i did not thought Bungie/Activision will go so far in order to sell DLC's. I dont mind paying for DLC's as long they are worth it but this is hardly the case. Its also sad that forums have become such a salty space. I unninstalled the game some days ago but keep comming to the forums to express my dissatisfaction. Asides from my dislikes for the game i have try to respect everyones opinion but definately there extremists on both sides, fanboys and haters. I hope December update manages to keep most of the players satisfied.

  • I never disputed those facts just stated the reason for a rushed project extra staff or not is due to contracts not bungie being lazy I'm np fanboy but I do give them props for getting a game out this quick that is good just lacking the magic d1 had
