This Account Has Been Banned
Hello,
Me and a couple other users on reddit are unable to launch the game. I never got an email or anything stating I was banned but that is the error I am receiving on login. The only thing I have in common with another player with the error is that we both purchased from Greenmangaming.
I haven't played since ROI (with the exception of the PC beta).
Trying to figure out how I can get the game working. I'd like to be able to play it.

Others with codes from Nvidia & Amazon are getting the same message.

4 RespuestasSome brave soul needs to run a working game and one by one install software to see which one it is that's causing the bans. The only thing I've seen so far are pictures of the ban screen so we have to take people's words that they actually didn't have modded software running in the background.

2 Respuestasso i got on the phone with blizzard they issued me a refund taylor was my gm he said they have been swamped all day with calls because of this and blizzard is trying to get ahold of bungie with no luck this is absolutely unacceptable and to have no way to dispute bans is something i cannot support i was so hyped to play d2 despite all the negative reviews i should have listened i hope they lose every player they have and blizzard takes there game off battle net i will never purchase another bungie title again they must not have done the research to realize we all use a voice chat soft ware or overlay this aint a damn xbox or ps play warframe if u like this style game its free and u can use discord and not get banned lol

Where does it say that we will get banned for having an overlay? Incompatibility means that it may not work, not BAN people for having them. I find it hard to believe that a company that recalled and reissued an entire game due to a bug in the uninstaller(MYTH II) would treat people that are having a serious problem like this.

I was one of the "400" (probably closer to 1,000) who got banned. I was running evga xoc for overclocking, asus AI Suite 3 for fan control, shadowplay, and chrome on another monitor. I got to the cutscene where you are flying back to the city with your ghost, and then got the ban. How is bungie going to tell me that within five minutes of booting up the game that they reviewed all my processes by hand decided one was trying to inject code? That's crap. I bought my key on blizz.net, and initially they were refusing to issue refunds, telling people to go to bungie to try and get unbanned. Too bad they have a zero tolerance policy on discussing bans. Once you're banned, you're banned forever. I played the beta for around four hours, have been playing other games through steam, uplay and origin since, and no other service has told me that I have a program that injects code. I have no clue what kind of crap this is, but bungie is lying about something. Just got a refund through blizz

2 RespuestasTime to start the conspiracy, maybe they are banning a bunch of people because they don't have enough servers for the amount of people that want to play. And they are just keeping their player numbers low and since they don't discuss or lift bans there ain't crap we can do.

1 RespuestaHey, just checked this morning and I got unbanned. According to their new statement, they "accidentally" banned people who didn't deserve it. Sounds like a false positive to me. Anybody else unbanned?

Adding to the list. Banned account. Only open programs were Discord, Intel Extreme Tuner, Blizzard Launcher and Task manager. No overlays to speak of. GG launch bugs. This militaristic stance on cheating is to be applauded, however, you'd definitely want to make sure you get it right before you alienate half the player base on day 1.

I got my refund back from Blizzard without problems after this BS ban. I recommend strongly to others who has bought this game thru Battlenet to do this as well before it´s too late! You can make you´re refund request here: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/destiny2/1181/1196/solution Better to get you´re refund now when you still can and buy this game later for cheaper price when this BS issues has been resolved!
