I didn't find it to be bad at all. Most of you complain on one hand how there is no grind, then you bitch when the game doesn't hand you everything instantly. Most of these IB threads have existed since early in the week. It's f'n stupid.
I'm not one to defend Bungie or even this game, but the Iron Banner cry baby bandwagon is ridiculous.
I managed to get everything but the hand cannon. I got a full armor set on my Hunter. Can't ask for more.
All I did was grind daily challenges each day on all three characters.

absolutely nobody complains that there's no grind. they complain that there's nothing rewarding to do in this damn game.

there's this thing called luck. I don't like putting hours into a game to maybe get something out of it. people like when their time is respected. not everyone can play video games all day.

It took me 30 level ups to get my full set. There was one night I was so oblivious after grinding all week that I stayed up until 1 a.m. and didn't win a single match. It was brutal. Grinding should be self paced and rewarding.

So you got lucky? Good for you? IB used to at least let you buy some pieces as you ranked up. Would you be mad if that were still in the game? What's the point of your comment?

I'm no pvp master lol and enjoy destiny. I just don't get how my toons are 280, 277 and 274 but only getting 273 gear? Just want to understand the rewards system.

That's probably because you have legendary mods on your armor/weapons which increases your overall power level but not your base power level. So, your base power level is what the rewards are based off of.

Ya got lucky so, I got 26 rank up engrams and the only armour piece I got was gauntlets. I kept getting duplicates of the fusion rifle, sidearm and sub machine gun all week long. It was the worst designed iron banner that bungie has done with that stupid token system and no chance of iron banner loot drops at the end of the game or the chance to buy loot at reaching say rank 5 like it used to be.
