Remember your First exotic and legendary from D1?
My first legendary was the Shadow Price, with some pretty bad perks. And my first exotic was Hawkmoon from the week 2 Nightfall!
Now in destiny 2 I have all exotics and only use 4 legendaries in total, and I have no memory on how I got any of them.
EDIT: After seeing all these posts it makes me miss all the variety in weapons in D1 that made them memorable, from the name of the gun all the way to how the gun looked and performed. I do hope that down the line D2 will gain this ability for its future weapons.

In D2 I'm just like "whoopdee doo, another shallow and meaningless thing that I have to give to another shallow and meaningless vendor so I can get a shallow and meaningless weapon or armor piece from it"

2 RespuestasIdk about my first legendary. But my first exotic DROP was the red death, I got it off an legendary Engram. Got it pretty early. I think my first exotic might of been the thorn or bad juju, Whichever exotic quest I picked first. I hated those exotic quests lol I find it funny that bungie regrets making so many fun exotics in D1. The exotic perks are pretty lame in D2

1 RespuestaI remember every single time I got an exotic in Destiny 1 but I don't for Destiny 2, whao you made a point I don't think I'll keep playing it anytime longer I don't know which was my first exotic because it was probably complete shit and earned through a quest.

1 RespuestaFirst legendary was TFWPKY, used it all the way to VOG where it could 1 shot goblins. Then my first exotic was TLW. In D2 I think my first legendary was originally story and and I can't recall my first exotic.

Doctor Nope was my first legendary and it had horrible rolls (final round on a auto rifle? What!?) Helm of inmost Light was my first exotic

I was a taken king noob and was grinding the prison of elders not realizing it only gave house of wolves gear and got the her mercy from the chest. My first exotic was last word after grinding that one mission that was a fallen winter something or other, and I was so happy when it dropped, those were the good, nostalgia goggles, times.
