How tf do people have 3 amazing characters?
Okay I get it, you like destiny. But seriously, to have three characters all 300 power is insane. I have work all week, but still put in loads of time, yet only have one warlock at 274 😂 is there some secret I'm missing? Or is it just having a lot of time and grinding?

I work 45-50 hours a week and have 3 characters over 300 one at 305. One thing I did make a hunter or titan as you already have a warlock do the story hit level 20 move all high weapons over don't have to use them just keep them in inventory. Do public events for about an hour this should get new character higher power than first then do blue quest the exotic quest not the one on Io repeat steps on 3rd character make sure they are all different move all high power weapons to warlock when done and do milestones should make it to 300 pretty quick

Power level 1 character to 300+. Then stack the other 2 characters with 305 weapons and rake in that bonus. I havent noticed a penalty in having 3 characters. Then again, I have 1 of each class. Not into that Elitist triple dupes stuff.

Don't make the same class of character more then once. Bungie purposely implemented something to really slow down your level jumps with duplicate classes. Get to 265-270 grinding and infusing into one set of armor or weapons. Then do your weekly milestones for Luminous engrams. If it bumps you one level higher go back and grind for drops that match that 1 level increase. Then do another milestone. The goal is to get to 280 when you can then buy legendary mods. That would put you at 285. Exotic weapon from quests will drop at 5 points higher than your current level up to 305. If you are 285.. drops (rare/legendary) should be 275. Exotic will be 15 points higher than your drops or 5 points higher than your level = 290. If you have exhausted all your luminous engram options and exotic quests... time to move on to the next character of a different class or wait until tuesday. The grind on the 2nd and 3rd character is ridiculously fast when transferring weapons from your first character.

I did one character a week. Focus on getting your main character up as high as possible. Exotics, powerful engrams and once you hit 280, focus on getting mods to add them plus 5's to all your gear. Also buy some 270 armor for your second and third character from Xur. Save your faction tokens for your next characters. When you start your second and third character, use fire team medallions to help you level up faster. Get through the story and hit level 20. Once level 20, transfer your high guns from your alternate characters and equip the one exotics you got from Xur. Use all of your tokens you saved on factions to get gear that will ascend your level. After that, complete your powerful engram milestones with your new character and you should be damn close to the same light level as your main. My titan was like 301 when I started my hunter. This is what I did and the day I hit level 20 with my hunter, following this method, I went from 187 light to 299.

You can transfer weapons to secondary character so drops after level 20 will be very high for alt, you only need a fireteam medallion to get to level 20 in like 2 hours. However you need to finish the story to unlock all other activities

The only thing that takes any time is leveling them to 20, then they shoot well over 290 with minimal effort. Equip your high level guns and start cashing in tokens. Made the jump from 160 to 300 in an hour.

Uh, I honestly can't say. I have three 304's with the right guns on them. All over 300 with whatever guns. I work 55 hours a week. Go out every Friday night with the girl and friends. Saturday day and night plans most of the time. Things here and there during the work week. Play when I can. I just make sure to do use my time efficiently I guess.

once you get one character to 300 and start getting 305 weapons, transferring them to other characters when they turn 20 boosts power levels really fast. I went from 230ish to 290 in about an hour.

Have a job, a too demanding social life, sorta girlfriend but still 3 at 304. Warlock hunter and titan. All 1 or 2 gearpieces away from 305. Just grind up 1 as high as you can and start the other 2 as fast as you can so you can do the milestones every week. Goes pretty fast that way

Yea just move your weapons from your main over and boom almost 260 from the get go

I am an adult, full time work and getting a PhD. All three of my peeps are 290 - 300. I played a lot the first weekend then a couple hours every night. I stalled for a night or two then realized i could "slingshot" my power level. Did the exotic quests with my strongest, gave the weapons to the second strongest and did them again which gave me stronger exotics, then did the same with my third and I climbed sharply. After that i only have done activities with powerful engrams associated. I still havent done a raid yet. I am also in a clan that has been earning the engrams and I have made sure to get 5k xp with all three every week.

The second and third characters go much faster because as soon as you hit rank 20, helped by using fireteam medallions for bonus XP, you give that new character a few 300+ weapons from your main and it's a cakewalk from there.

Having 3 characters makes it faster to level up all of them. 3 chances at milestones and raids/trials. Making it more likely that you can get high level weapons which can be transferred from character. No real 'grind' required anymore.

First character is tye only one that truly takes time. 2nd and.3rd are.pretty instant

In many ways it's easier once you have completed the campaign with one character and received a couple of exotic weapons. It also helps to buy exotic class armours for other classes off Xur, and stick them in your vault along with your highest light guns from your first character. Why? The game drops new items with a slightly higher light level, up until your into the endgame and it starts to plateau a bit more. But unlike D1 in D2 it calculates yoyr light level based not on what you have equipped, but on the highest light possible from all items in your inventory. So when starting a 2nd or 3rd character, as soon as you reach the Farm dive into the vault and pick out those high end weapons and the exotic class armours. Drop them in your new character's inventory. Yes, you won't be able to use them until you're level 20, but as far as I can tell they still count. Because I burned up to 280 light with my 2nd character long before I'd finished the campaign.

Got one ccharacter to 300. Put their weapons on the second and soon armour drops shot up to match weapons. Put the weapons on the 3rd and repeat.
