I'm not going to say I disagree with datto, simply because destiny 1 nightfalls after they changed it just became glorified strikes with usually crappy rewards (ghosts) but that response is right, not everyone does it for a living and to some it might be too hard.
I have no problems with the nightfall currently except every week it should be something different to keep the timer from only being the thing that makes nightfalls hard.
Return to orbit on death, and other modifiers need to come back, because it's what made some nightfalls stupidly easy, and some stupidly hard. (Bond brothers with solar burn and no flinch...sends shivers down my spine)
I think it just needs more time for people to adjust to the timer and learn where things are, and I don't mean more time in the nightfall, but people just need to practice more.
It's all a matter of experience and your ability to quickly think, and once you understand what works best and the best way for you to do it, it becomes easier.
The raids always seem incredibly hard at first, but you just need time to learn, that's all.
So datto both was right and wrong, because in his experience the game isn't hard, but to more casual players it is.
But people do complain and think sometimes things like majors and bullet sponges just make it too hard, but it's a nightfall for damn sake!
Bungie just needs to strike a balance between actual difficulty, and artificial difficulty.
