please bring back old Control
Destiny 2 Control isn't actually Control, its more like Zone Clash. I get that in Destiny Control you got points for killing enemies but this new version feels much more like a Clash variant. The question at any given time is "what is your team's multiplier?"
I do like the fact that heavy ammo spawns have changed and the zone locations have moved since last week. That's cool. But I'd rather Control be like it was in the first game.

Don't cap any points - just kill and you will win so why is it even called control. Just another retard project manager at Bungie making decisions on a game they don't even play.

I know this is a bit old now but Iron Banner Control has reminded me of the differences between Control in Destiny and Destiny 2.

I want the old setup too. Want to rush B with half the team while the rest cap C? That's fine but you're giving the point advantage to the other team if they capture A with 4 first. Or they might rush 4 to B making your split team an easy kill. Want the point fast? Group up on it, but be careful since you're a prime target for grenade. Also, what happened to neutralizing the point? I miss the risk vs reward gameplay it had before D2

1 RespuestaThat is exactly what D1 control was too. You got more points for having 2 zones than 1. And even more for having all 3. The only difference is you already start with A or C.

1 RespuestaHay. I'm at work right now but on the topic... Can somebody play with a stop watch and when con-troll is up time capture with single players or multiple player? I strongly suspect that the game no longer increases capture time based on number of people on the control point which seriously changes the tactics people should be using if that's true...

Ok so there is a benefit in D2 Control for zone capture... but not nearly as great as killing opponents is now. The obsession with converting D2 to an esport friendly competitive environment is totally killing the ‘casual’ PvP player... I know I’ll never be good, but I’d like to have the opportunity to participate without a guaranteed Stomping

I perfer it this way, you cant be arsed capping flags so your team has the advantage? Well...

I prefer any objective based match thats not just team deathmatch as i can play a bigger roll on the outcome like 10-15 zone captures and 5+ power plays... or just go back and good old teamshot. Supremacy oh boy its clash but no one runs for crests cause ppl like me camp them waiting for someone to rush it xD.
