The entire forum community is toxic and none of their points even make sense. Please community just relax and play the game.
I've played since D1 launch, this is my insight:
[1] STRIKES - People complain about the rewards - they were never good, people were just still learning the game.
[2] NIGHTFALL - rewards were awful D1, they are now guaranteed upgrades, and now farmable. Way better in D2The timer is a great touch that doesn't let the lowbies cheese or get carried through. Ensure the players are actually playing the game, or players that suck would be walking around with Prestige Auras getting invited to high level activities that they can't handle (D1 all over again).
[3] RAID - not even going to get started about raid loot. People are complaining about raid loot and it's the first week. Meanwhile i beat the raid twice and got the 2 Auto Primary, Scout Secondary, 2 Helmets, 2 Chests, and Boots. COME ON. Give it at least a month before comparing it to 3 months of vault of glass RNG... they even give you tokens for vanity purposes at below light level to infuse into your good gear!! aA far as the complaints of it being too difficult, grow up. If a raid was as easy as a strike it would be called a strike not a raid. The epitome of raiding is spending 2 hours to get a 5 minute fight done correctly without death. Hate to say it but git gud.
[4] PVP Game Choice - this was a developer decision at launch to allow the players to learn the game via "drinking from the firehose". Additionally, they did not want to open up a setting where competitive players could practice the map and game type over and over and over on the wave of trials. They have already released the game type and map for the next 4 weeks...
[5] Shaders - Just stop please. it's better than doing 45 rep ups with dead orbit to not get a single Black/White Shader. The game is 2 weeks old. In another 12 everyone will have 100 of each type and not know what to do wth it.
TL;DR - I personally feel the game is in a great state, and I'm having fun. Over complaining ruins the game and I just hope bungie ISN'T listening to you this time around.

2 RespuestasBungie should be listening! We paid $60-$100 for the game and thanks to microtransactions, some may even pay more. We're giving them food to put on their table, now it's their turn to deliver! We have complaints, they need to listen/deal with them (At least the major ones). D2 isn't enough of an impression to persuade people from D1 back in the game and maybe because they know not much has changed. If Bungie doesn't want to starve, they better get their shit together cuz this "second chance" isn't just taken lightly.
-
3 RespuestasHave fun playing by yourself in a couple months, if they don't listen. Just about every person I play with for the last 3 years, pretty much hates most of the decisions made with this game.
-
1 RespuestaBut Bungie SHOULD listen to people that say a staff doesn't fit Hunters...
-
I have over 9 days of time, spent actively gaming in D2. I’m pretty sure I have every right to complain, if need be. I have a few complaints. This is a feedback forum.
-
1 RespuestaI agree with you.
-
1 RespuestaCommunity feedback is welcome and helps improve the game. But yes, i hear you about the toxic part. Toxicity usually develops when a bad decision is made (example; loot lockout timer on chests) and Bungie refuses to listen to OVERWHELMING community feedback. Either it gets fixed, or the toxicity will likely get worse (making new players not want to play). Solution? Listen to the community, sometimes they know what is best. P.S. Strike rewards ARE bad and need a buff. Currently after you play each Strike once there is no incentive for replayability. Each Strike should drop a guaranteed powerful engram and a chance at some kind of Strike specific loot.

1 RespuestaEditado por DatUPSman: 9/21/2017 3:13:43 AMI agree 100 percent people are bitching for nothing but that's what the destiny community is man stop trying to get the word out, they don't get shit handed to them so they're salty AF. I'M power level 300 off my own steam and hard work. -blam!- the raid, this raid isn't pointed at getting you to max level. They spun it a different way this time because everyone complained last time about how raids weren't enough. Now they change it and they get mad. I can't wait till heroic raid comes out. I literally grinded almost all the exotics, I keep leveling up and grinding. I did the nightfall twice 2nd try. I mean really, before nightfall were impossible and didn't give you shit. Now I get 2 purple upgrades from the chest although that was lucky I think and you can get exotic engrams. I love upgrading and grinding exotics. Also World of Warcraft is the most popular MMO that ever lived and guess what? They have rep turn ins for raid gear. So uhm, stop using that as an excuse to say the raid sucks. This game is an MMO get over it

1 RespuestaThis is what people need to see!

1 RespuestaI literally just made a similar post about this lol. Didn't see yours before I made it :( I completely agree with you!

1 RespuestaTL;DR - I walked under monkey stairs, picking water pillows from epic curtain pictures. Once, in a rolling trap machine, I folded clock biscuits using paper whiskers.
Fickle dimples.
1 RespuestaCouldn't agree more. Op is right. So many cry babies.
-
1 RespuestaThe rewards in this game suck for the effort. I haven't had a single reward in the last week that offered a + light level bump, without some mod. Exotics are rolling below current light. That is a broken system.

1 RespuestaI have nothing to chase in D2.

6 RespuestasFanboy post reeks of fanboyism

1 RespuestaBut like half of your points are completely wrong lmao

8 RespuestasWrong the nightfall does not guarantee and upgrade I have only used 2 items that i have gotten from the 6 engrams i open from zavala after completing in the rest is trash i find the vanguard tokens are more valuable than the gear just bc it turns into gunsmith parts and legendary shards

9 RespuestasDisagree vehemently, especially with 3 and 5. If the raid is going to be the most challenging activity in the game, then the rewards should be substantial, otherwise what would be the point of doing them? And shaders? In the old system, once you unlock it, it's yours. Permanently. It's only obvious that people would be upset at them being consumable. And your point about people having hundreds of stacks prove mine. They're waiting to stack them to mitigate the risk of using them, when in the old system, you push a button and you're DONE. You say it's fine, but we had it better.

4 RespuestasI've beat the raid 6 times so far. I've gotten 2 smgs and actual raid drops and 2 more smgs along with sword and cloak from tokens. Great reward system it is. Nightfall timer is pretty dumb. During rise of iron bungie tried to prevent speed running of strikes by adding traps and blocking off a few of the cheese spots. Now they want us to skip entire sections of strikes in order to save time. Destiny 1 pvp was designed for the casual player with the introduction of sbnm. Now in destiny 2 its way more competitive with its 4v4 system. All bungie did was try and hide the lag with smaller teams, maps, and getting rid of connection bar. The story in destiny 1 while it wasn't really a story you had the ability to replay it. The strikes were also weaved into the story. Destiny 2 removed that. Instead of being rewarded after completing part of game I get tokens. I have to go to an over sized tower to level up an npc in order to get rewards. The list goes on but I don't have time to add any more. I'm off to the dentist.

No, I will not stop. This forum’s toxicity is because we don’t feel like Bungie listens. In fact Deej, in an interview a couple months ago even said he only takes feedback from well known streamers and leaders of large clans. We are Toxic because we feel ignored, and Deej has confirmed we are ignored, so the toxicity feels justified. Bungie has these official forums for us to provided feed back, but they are far more likely to respond to Reddit posts than inqueries here. Bungie talks a big game about community, but tries their very best to avoid engaging with the rank and file of the commmunity.

9 RespuestasOk I'll bite. 1. Strike rewards in the previous game were good as a bridge between finishing the story and nightfall/raid level content. In Destiny 2 strike and public event rewards are more or less the same, so why do strikes? 2. I'm yet to see anyone complain about the nightfall rewards, every complaint I've seen has been about the timer artificially inflating the difficulty, people are going to understandably feel cheated when they lose to an arbitrary timer rather than the enemy they're fighting. 3. People are complaining about the raid loot because it offers no gratification for the kill, half of your loot is locked in the ship underbelly behind a tedious maze and (half the time) yet another puzzle. You can't access the vast majority of your loot until after the raid is complete and you're rolling against the entire raid loot table every single time you run the raid. That's before we even get into the fact that the raid loot is for the most part no more or less exceptional than normal items found elsewhere. I'd be extremely surprised if after 4 weeks anyone is still running the raid. 4. It doesn't matter what their reasoning for removing PvP choice was, the fact of the matter is they implemented a system people got used to in the first game, then snatched it away in the second so they didn't have to put real work into fixing it. 5. I only had to get 1 drop in the previous game, I now have to get a bare minimum of two drops on this game from a much larger pool of potential drops to shade an entire set of armour.

1 RespuestaOut of curiosity do you not have any criticisms about the game?
-
I love how people complain about xur and that his gear was shit. In D1 it was a bitch to farm for strange coins. Shards in D2 are so easy to get i have over a hundred so why would xur give you super powerful equipment? If he sold exotic engrams id buy like 10 thats kinda unfair.
