While MIDA isn't the best powerhouse weapon to use in PVE, it is back to that perfect place of being able to flinch Yellow Bar enemies and serve a huge purpose in an effective end game activity. It's also an explorer's dream weapon. Move faster, jump like a gazelle, and pop the heads off enemies with a smile on your face.
Since it isn't full auto and it has a just slightly on the edge of annoying pop-up recoil, there are other guns I swap to for large encounters. And the scope is unforgiving in the up close battle in both PVP and PVE. But I LOVE my MIDA just the way it is for PVE.
In PVP, when in comes to teams stacked with it, you just have to close the gap quick and take the fight to them. There are plenty of guns that can put shoot the MIDA if you are smart enough to get inside their optimal range.
So stop it with the salty tears there kids and learn to overcome your weaknesses. You'll be far better players for it.

I outshoot it with nameless midnight regularly

2 RespuestasEditado por Joker_Karasu: 9/17/2017 11:54:30 AMI've been saying this for years. If one weapon is being used above all others maybe the other weapons should be buffed to be viable. It's completely backwards to weaken your weapons that you worked for and flies in the face of the game's premise "become legend."
-
1 RespuestaLets be honest here the only real problem with pvp is the stupid radar, 4v4 snorefest and none stop team shotting and camping. Destiny 1 pvp was better
-
1 RespuestaMIDA is only in the game because bungo had no more exotic designs left
-
I really like the gun, but the crucible is just mida mode at the moment. Shows a huge lack of options if we all feel we have to use one gun, not to mention a huge lack of creativity.
-
2 RespuestasEditado por BIGMAC103: 9/17/2017 11:10:38 AMI just hate the sound of the gun. I think I was the only person not using a mida one time. The sound was driving me insane. The whole lobby was super passive, even my own team. The game went time limit of course.
-
Everyone is either using Mida or Nameless Nightmare in T9. And I'm just not good enough to stop them lol
-
This is why Crucible and PvE should be separate.
-
7 RespuestasMida is the only primary i see in trials. I use it too to be equally matched. Honestly it should have never made it to D2. Just my opinion.
-
Mida wasn't ruined in Destiny 1, all they did was remove high cal rounds, which was needed. Why they have it back was beyond me, but they'll probs remove high cal rounds from it or decrease its effectiveness.

Editado por monkeydancer: 9/17/2017 9:53:09 AMMida is a quest reward so everyone should have it anyway. So instead of these people calling for nerf just get off your ass do the quest get the gun and then if you still keep dying it's just proof that they are crap in pvp and it's not because of the gun. Nerfs killed d1 I use an auto rifle in pvp I don't even really bother with my elemental and found I'm better in D2 than I ever was in D1 and killed many people rocking mida's with not much bother. It's the player NOT the weapon.
-
read its grimoire guys! lore says no more nerfs, so for the sake of immersion we must oblige!
-
*shrugs* if the numbers show there's a gun that's become the only thing in use by everyone then it's inevitably going to be changed. I'll just wait for my thorn to come back in its year 1 glory now. It's fine.
-
I'm glad old exotics are back, nice nostalgia
-
Again? Last thing they nerved was the HCR. IIRC they said the MIDA was a perfectly balanced weapon.
-
Mida's not OP. It's just easy to get.
-
It's nerf is inevitable and I for one won't mind. It's not a fun fun to use in crucible for me so I never use it
-
I like the vigilance wing.
-
And......its nerfed
-
With a gun that solid being a quest item, it was inevitable it would be played a great deal in PvP simply because of supply. People always get upset seeing the same gun name every death.
-
2 RespuestasMore people should just use something that takes more skill and blinds your radar like most others play. People simply use it to gain the upper hand because they're terribad and need that crutch. All pvp is is who can play the cheapest. No real skill just cheapness. Ill stick to my AR's all day and molest mida users tho. Cheers loves! :)
-
First week of trials and we already have Nerf babies in full force demanding for unwarranted nerfs. We already saw this payout in d1. It was shit.
-
Honestly autos feel super strong this go around. Vanguard auto and mini tool with a close range heavy and I'm loving pvp rn. It's the maps that dictate the weapons. The ones that call for longish range is where that struggles in some unsavory engagements.
-
Easy fix, high caliber rounds only take effect in pho activities, thus catering to both types of players
-
The problem is weapon diversity. Using only mida means a lot of other guns aren't used. Removing high caliber rounds would help.
-
Ehh someone's weapon choice in crucible never affects me. Just adapt and see what happens. Although I do let out a little laugh when I see a team of 4 rockin all Midas in quickplay
