"Weekly personal contribution 5000/5000"
I am very disappointed to see an XP gain limit per player, I understand it is probably meant to avoid having one person heavily carry the clan BUT this ends up punishing smaller clans.
A five man clan will take 4 weeks to reach lvl 1 as a clan.
A ten man clan will take 2 weeks to reach lvl 1.
Etc. etc.
Please remove this weekly contribution limit, the XP should represent how active the clan is regardless of their player count.

15 RespuestasPublic service announcement, bump this. 5k is the limit you could gain by yourself, with that character. Last night me and my two other clan mates were the only ones online, we both hit our cap, yet we continued to gain and add to our clan xp. There is no xp limit when grouped with clan mates, this was designed to encourage play time with friends instead of solo.

7 RespuestasEditado por ManBlaster: 9/9/2017 10:31:17 AMas part of a 4 man clan... this sucks the hair right off a donkeys balls. we grind strikes and patrols endlessly up to six hours a day... and we cannot achieve the same as a 50 person clan that has a number of people that log in for maybe an 4hrs a week or an hour a day. Our hours of having fun as a team aren't as valuable as a larger group it feels.

Apparently the rewards reset aftet a while? Yes I know I can earn 15000 a week but I cant really put in that much time across 3 characters. Im still working on leveling my main first. It would still take me 7 weeks if I hit the cap on all 3. I dont think there should be a personal cap.

I believe we hit our caps yesterday. Or at least most of us did. We're all capped today. So far 6 of us are playing, each one character right now, and we have 30,000 XP gained. We've played many public events and strikes and lost sectors together after the cap (LS might not count...) and not a single dent has been put in our cap since then. Either not all clans are working properly within the game and it's an error (as my game refuses to load our clan roster/settings), or something weirdly sporadic is going on with clan contribution between the different clans. -- At the very least, Bungie needs to address this in the next TWAB. Clearly it's working for some clans and not for other clans.

The personal cap applies to solo contribution. If you play with a clan mate in activities after you hit the cap, you continue to gain xp.

1 RespuestaAhmen, OP! And to those who say just make 3 characters... Why?! We shouldn't have to. If you main a class, Bungie should allow you to help your clan with that one class. You shouldn't have to triple up every week. My wife and I are a two-man clan and we enjoy the role play of maining the same hunter/warlock we played in D1. We should not be PUNISHED for just wanting to play together, even though we're on every minute we're at home. We put in more hours combined than some larger clans. I get larger clans leveling faster because of more people, but smaller clans need a way to catch up and earn the stave too!

Completely wrong. If each person in your team has three characters each person can contribute 15000 each week. So a 5 man clan would generate 75,000 in a week a ten man clan would generate 150,000 in just one week easily enough. You need at least a team of 7 all with three characters each to hit over 100,000 a week.

1 RespuestaThe personal contribution is not capped, the 5000/5000 is just a goal for a powerful engram, since you can continue to earn xp afterwards. The [b]clan[/b] limit is 100000 xp a week.

IT COUNT FOR ALL 3 CHARACTERS. YOU CAN GET 15k per week.

You can do it with different characters as well, if you have 3 characters, you can do 5k each

Clan XP - activities you complete when half of the fireteam or more is made up of clan members. Personal Clan XP - activities you complete solo. I believe the 100,000 XP "limit" people are referring to is actually how much it takes to reach Clan Level 2. I'm sure the amount of Clan XP will go up between levels.

2 RespuestasI'm not really sure, but I think that the limit is not truly a limit to contribution to the clan level. That is a requirement. Yesterday I was online but not in team together with a clan buddy: we had already reached our 5000 limit, but the clan level still went on and on, every activity we finished. Why's that? I think that the 5000 points contribution is the minimum personal contribution to get the clan gained benefits of the current season. Not really sure, I repeat, but...

Not sure if anyone said this but the amount you need after hitting level 2 is 125,000 in order to hit level 3. My clan hit the maximum which is 100,000 so we are level 2 now :) everyone is welcome to join!

Our 25 Members did it less than a day casually playing. Even nabbed a few Engrams from somebody completing the Nightfall and the PVP Milestones. Cant wait for the Raid and Trials to drop to nab a few more. =)
