Was pulled over off to the side of the highway. Had my hazards on. State trooper pulls up behind me. I instantly pulled my license out. She walked up to the car with her gun already drawn and aimed at my head. I was completely frozen and could barely hear her yelling to roll down the window. I knew that if I moved an inch too quickly, I was dead. Pause. If you're wondering why I'm sharing this, it's because of the people here who INSIST that "not all cops are bad" and "teh media" has an agenda against them. BFS. Here I was, minding my own business trying to enjoy some of the finest grade A [censored by Communists!] that money can buy, and this psychopath approaches the car with a gun pointed at me. Not to mention her finger was on the trigger the entire time. Are they seriously not teaching trigger discipline anymore in baby officer training camp? I swear this chick was shaking as if SHE was the one about to get shot to pieces. Anyways, I VERY CAREFULLY rolled down my window, and she asked me wtf I was doing parked on the side of the highway in the middle of the day. [b]This is where things got interesting.[/b] Me: "Ma'am, is it illegal for me to be parked here?" Officer HotShot: "Answer the ques-" Me: "Because if it's not illegal, then I don't think I'm obligated to tell you why I'm here if I'm not actually breaking any laws by sitting here." Officer HotShot: *radio-ing for backup at this point* "Sir, step out of the car." Me: "Why? Do you have probable cause to suspect me of committing a crime, or attempting to commit a crime?" OHS: "No, just-" Me: "So am I being detained?" *raises eyebrows* 😎 OHS: "......GET OUT OF THE CAR [b][u]NOW[/u][/b] or I [i]WILL[/i] remove you." Me: "Listen ma'am, I'm not trying to cause you problems. I know you have a job to do and just want to go about your day." *gun is still pointed btw, and she's shaking and sweating profusely by now.* Me: "But there are laws in this country that prohibit what is happening right now. I have my license in my lap, which you haven't even asked for yet. You also haven't even told me why you pulled me over. AND you even admitted that this isn't a no parking zone. So...please...can you put away the gun and just run my license?" *backup arrives* Officer Hotshot #2: "Young man you have 3 seconds to comply before we will break this window and remove you from the vehicle." *whispers to OHS #1 to put down the gun before they end up on the news* OHS2: 1...2....- Me: "Alright [i]Alright,[/i] I'll go just-- OHS1: *smashes window anyways and forces open the door* [b][u]"STOP RESISTING!"[/u][/b] *I'm on the ground at this point with 2 officers screaming commands at me. My wife is in the passenger's seat recording everything on Facebook live.* Basically to cut to the end, I ended up being arrested for resisting arrest and "obstructing justice." Apparently asking questions is a crime now lol. I have court on September 24th. My license is suspended until then. Can't wait for people to read this and defend the cops, and explain how "if I would have just [x]," this wouldn't have happened. Oh, and I didn't mention the race of the cops on purpose. Use your imagination. Anyways, hopefully none of you ever meet one of these terrorists. I'm lucky to be alive. I could have easily been the next hashtag. [i]BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE![/i] [spoiler]more[/spoiler][spoiler]no, but really, this is all completely fake and the officer just introduced herself as a state trooper, asked what I was doing, and said "this probably isn't the best place to be parked. Have a good day." It was a 7 second encounter at most. Can't wait to see how many people don't read the whole thing and get triggered in the comments lol.
