Such a huge bragging right?
Seriously this guy has done everything in a game and he's going around acting like other people have never gotten close to his skill just because they're not 100% done with a game
May I remind you people that video games are supposed to be for fun not to brag or say you're way better than everyone else because truth is you probably aren't.
I remember when video games were about coming home from school and messing around instead of trying to be the most toxic waste of oxygen on the internet I remember when gaming was strong now you've got people quitting because the new games being made are only for competitive trash talkers with no real skill just cheats
For all I know most of the toxic people I see are probably ten year olds thinking their good just because their older brother helped them beat the game which hey fine by me But if you didn't do it yourself keep your mouths shut simple as that
I play on my account all my progress is because of me no one else I haven't really 100% completed a game because most games I find I enjoy and beating it would mean I would be bored
I 100% completed my math homework in middle school does that make me cool? Haha I wish it did

6 RespuestasYou speak about "kids ruining games" yet you write like a 14 year old. Grammar and conventions my friend, they strengthen your argument. And you then present the notion that games are supposed to be fun and instead we just have "competitive trash games." So because those games aren't fun to you they suck? Sick hypocracy dude. If you want your opinion to be respected and taken seriously then you will learn to do the same for others.

I have to disagree with this post. I'm a completionist and I enjoy doing everything in a game because it gives me a goal to strive for, just like people play games to reach max rank in multiplayer, or just play to kill time, or just play to have fun. I enjoy getting all the achievements and doing everything there is to do because I get my money's worth and I play everything the game has to offer. I don't think I'm a "God" because of it. I also don't think completionists are toxic at all, if anything, the multiplayer guys are the most toxic.
-
Meh some games I like to 100% because they are fun while doing so. The vast majority of mu games are barely 40% complete achievement wise etc because I play for the story and fun. If by the end of the story (man games well before then) I've not really enjoyed it then that's where I stop.

12 RespuestasBeing toxic is bad. Being proud that you got all achievements in a game or something isn't bad.

I have 100% in all the telltale games so you can
suck my balls I have more bragging right
-
5 RespuestasI have 100% in Lego Harry Potter.
Come at me
-
Only game I 100% completely was LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
-
Think the last game I had 100% on was gta3. Mostly because I had like 2 other games. Nvm I didnt. Never did racing side missions because racing games and mini games are trash for trash skrubzz.

Sheesh, salty much? You do realize that there are multiple genres, all varying of difficulties. Sure, a person will come off as pretentious if they boast about a video game achievement, but if you are seriously one of those folks who lets that get under your skin then you should probably take a step back, do some yoga and relax.
-
I got a 100% completion all the time.
and then there are video games
-
It mostly means you spent more time in a game than someone else honestly. Not really something worth bragging about, but it is a nice personal achievement.
-
I remember getting 100% on many many games but back then there was no such thing as the Internet. My only concern back then was whether or not my mother was watching General Hospital so I can get a little Atari on :)
-
The only games that I've 100% were the original Spyros and Soma lol
-
3 RespuestasWell, according to your logic all games should be just for fun and competition shouldn't exist. Go back under your bridge.

2 RespuestasVideo games in the past use to be incredibly difficult and had secrets out the ass. Getting 100% completion was an actual bragging right. You knew the secrets, you knew the game, you pretty much know everything you're doing. It was a bragging right. But now most games anymore are child's play for 100% completion. Look at call of duty, oh wow, beat it on veteran and prestige, that's so hard since everyone can do it if they put the hours in and have good internet. Most 100% completions are just "get 6000 headshots" or "win 4000 games" anymore. That's honestly nothing. Look back at the old games where you had to collect every collectable in a level in under 5 minutes without dying. that's a bragging right. 10 prestige in call of duty, is not.

4 Respuestas100% in a game like CoD or something isn't that impressive. 100% in Skyrim, GTA V, or Pokémon would be.
-
1 RespuestaI'd consider having a 100% completed national pokedex a big deal
-
1 RespuestaIt depends on what priorities people have and how much they value 100%. For me, 100% completion means nothing and I tend to avoid the completionist mentality in order to always have something left to do after not playing a certain game for quite some time. I understand that many are keen on completing games and sometimes have a certain behavior but that shouldn't bother anyone. Gaming gives people the freedom to unleash the best and the worst in their personality and if you found some people showing their worst behavior, so be it, it's not like it's affecting you in any way.

3 RespuestasThis is a salty post.

1 RespuestaSome like the challenge... I'd 100% dark souls 3, destiny, Ark, Divison, and some others I think? None were really that hard but it still feels good to complete it.
-
Only games I 100%'d was titanfall 2 and skyrim. Not huge achievements, for skyrim it was inevitable to nlt have almost 2k hours and not a 100%. Titanfall I did cus it was easy and didn't take 10,000 years.

Editado por Kone19ps: 8/7/2017 12:43:09 AM90s platformers were all about collecting everything. Most games had completion bonuses of some kind. Especially Nintendo. For some including me it's a goal and it's satisfying to take in the whole game. Try watching the completionist on YouTube he describes it better.
