...because it ruined D1 for me. Now when I log into D1 I go to the tower and just stand there. I have zero motivation to play D1 at all now.
The BETA is to blame for this. I know that this seems to be a unpopular opinion around here, but I really enjoyed what I was able to play in the BETA. I am seriously looking forward to D2 now. So much so, that it completely annihilated my desire to do anything at all in D1.
Am I the only one, I wonder?

Destiny 2 beta is okay
-
That little bit of content and boring crucible ruined D1 for you? I started a new account after the beta to re-do all D1 and having an absolute blast!
-
1 RespuestaYou enjoyed the beta content really? 2 maps 1 super per match if lucky and 1 strike ? Wow you have low standards
-
I can't wait to explore the shit outta D2...I haven't been this excited about a game release since Halo 2
-
Your not alone. I cant wait for the release.. I find D1 pretty cringy.. though I will still play, and I play with friends.. I just dont play as much anymore, and there is no more need to grind. I have everything I need, and I have done everything I needed/wanted to do in D1.. Now its just the wait. Can we skip august?
-
7 RespuestasAs soon as I saw the D2 reveal my playtime has reduced drastically. Nothing is carrying over, I don't really need anything else.. I'm just waiting until release day.
-
Haven't played it yet since I am waiting for PC, but it looks so much better than D1 that I can hardly play it now. I give up super quick on activities if they aren't going well and don't even try. Played IB yesterday and after seeing the lackluster rewards for the "final" event, I lost all interest. Hell I tried regicide on 380 this morning for weekly story and the -blam!-ing phalanxes at the end kept -blam!-ing me over so much that I just ejected the disc and moved on to something else. Literally the only reason I play now is to get emotes and cosmetics from treasure of ages but I ain't busting my ass for that lol.

12 RespuestasEditado por Swiftlock: 7/29/2017 6:18:00 PMNah. It's still fun to go back and jump into raids with friends. Plus, I find it more fun to not have to deal with sluggish cooldowns and slower TTK's.
-
Funny because when I went back to D1 I realised D2 was a step backwards!
-
Destiny 1 felt like that a year ago
-
1 Respuestanews just in. other games are available to play right now 😯
-
2 RespuestasI keep the beta installed just in case they randomly bring i5 back for a day or two. I know they won't but I'll keep it installed until I can pre install destiny 2.
-
6 RespuestasLOL. I felt the exact opposite. I wish I had never played the BETA for D2, because it totally destroyed my expectations for the game. I have ZERO desire to pre-order or even be on it on day one. I went back to D1, because it is better than the Beta.
-
2 RespuestasI stopped playing when it was announced that nothing is going to be carried forward to D2. I lost all motivation to play and I've only just returned to the forums again to learn that nothing has changed, everyone's a negative nancy.
-
1 RespuestaI have probably close to 3000 hrs in Destiny with characters deleted included, I'd log in everyday pre D2 beta now after playing the shit fest of a beta with its god awful aim assist, movement speed and that team shot mechanics being a pile of crap I play Destiny no more, cannot be assed with it! Disappointed!

26 RespuestasThe beta was bad. My 15 year old daughter, who doesn't regularly play destiny, gave me her input. It takes longer to kill The guys are smaller It looks harder It doesn't look like fun And I agree. D2 beta showed it is less fun than D1.
-
D1 got boring years ago.
-
Same way, I have 0 desire to play D1. I had a lot of fun with the D2 Beta. Can't wait for the full game to be released. For everybody complaining that the D1 one beta had more, well duh. It had 50% of Destiny's explorable areas.....which were empty as hell even in the final game. People need to stop complaining that it was too small, the Beta served as a stress test on the servers primarily, and a demo second. The build we played was an old one at that, and a lot of what the community had to say has already been fixed in the more current build of the game. Geezus people bitch about the smallest things, super entitled.

2 RespuestasI deleted Destiny because of this.
-
I need to finish trials passages for my RoI book. After playing the truly enjoyable PvP in D2, trials is gonna be a nightmare
-
I've done everything I want to in D1. Even got Transversive Steps. Now I wait.

Editado por Emi: 8/1/2017 1:41:55 AMI am suffering from destiny 2 withdrawal... And my destiny 2 fidget spinner isn't helping.
-
Yea same here but I see it as an opportunity to play some old titles I never got around to because of D1.
-
Editado por Mystic-Dream-54: 8/1/2017 12:40:53 AMI had the same feeling but I found a comprehensive list of missions and strikes to enjoy the story again, without deleting a character. Ive got 1 mission to go and it's been a blast. 1 more Aksis run to cap off a great adventure! It actually had that send off, end of an era type feel! Use only your favourite year 1 weapons.

1 RespuestaYou aren't the only one who liked the BETA. There's this thing called the "vocal minority" who's taken over the internet with their opinion of the D2 BETA.
-
I wish i never played destiny 2 beta, because it was worse than destiny 1 at the moment and destiny 1 was a huge waste of time and money... ps. Thanks bungie for making sticky nades, icebreaker and wormwood op and stealing all that special ammo that was usefull.
