I actually think the beta is fun.
It seems I'm a bit alone here. The guns feel great, the PvP consistent, and the abilities are fun. My only issue is the slow super charge rate in PvP. Other than that, it's pretty fun. Of course, I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this or people will say "The PvP is trash." Some people are just not used to using their actual guns, which is what D2 fixed. It's more about gun skill now. I hope at least some people agree with me.

Definitely would have liked to see some more of the PvE elements. My favorite part of the D1 beta was wandering around the Cosmodrome for hours. I'm not bothered by the slow super charge rate. It, coupled with other factors makes you have to be mindful of your load out, and puts that much more emphasis on the team dynamics.

See, the thing is people will complain about it... But that doesn't stop it from being fun. D1 was fun (most of the time) and yet look at how much people complained about every little thing. Hell, I complained! I'm still complaining! All of you are pansies! Teamshotting b*tches...

Just got done with the missions and I do agree it took forever to charge my super, I'm just hoping as with d1 that with better gear provides faster cool down. Next I'm on to pvp.

3 RespuestasI enjoyed the beta. Thought pvp was way better crisp, loved the lack of supers and shotguns. I was constantly out of ammo on the mission and the super charge time was a drag. The strike did not have an ammo issue. But the pve experience including the cut screens were great though tge boss fight was underwhelming. Ill give it a solid B+.

I know it's not fair to compare D2 beta to the complete game of Destiny 1. if I was to compare D1 beta to D2 beta I would have to say the D2 beta is a little lacklustre!

The people who complain are the same trials nerds who relied on the abilities. Agreed most of it seems pretty balanced right now except hunters being a chew toy compare to the other two .

Glad everybody isn't so negative bout the BETA...i started Destiny with beta release and though much smaller i do like the D2 beta and can't wait for Sept. 6 I preordered the limited edition on ps4

2 RespuestasThe homecoming mission was the most fun I've had in a game in awhile. It felt new and awesome and the gun and super balance was great. I love the story so far, and the incorporation of the NPCs into the mission. It makes it feel so much more alive when you have teammate NPCs, like in halo when the marines were there fighting with you. Smgs are really cool. The sunshot hand cannon sounds so amazing! The sounds for most everything are super satisfying. Hand cannons feel awesome. I actually like the auto rifle compared to most auto rifles in D1. I didn't feel like in PVE I was an idiot for not using a scout rifle. For some reason, the strike felt slow. Like the space was too big for the number of enemies encountered. There were a few spots it was really fun, but it just felt empty most of the time. The boss was kind of cool, but it did feel a bit bullet spongey. I wish the hunter provided more team utility. I was excited for golden shooting six times but it didn't really seem to do much damage. Overall I am looking forward to the release and am having fun with the beta.

Good thing this beta is just a test huh? I enjoy what they've accomplished so far, they've done pretty damn well. I just hope that they'll do what they can to fix upcoming issues, and I know they'll do their best this time around. I'll add this bit too, Destiny has one hell of an atmosphere. It's sparked my imagination and given loads of fun throughout the years. Sure we only see what goes wrong and such...but I'll be damned if it hasn't been worth the struggle to get here. Thanks Bungie, for everything that goes right and everything that goes wrong. Without it, it would be boring as hell.

I got a quad kill in countdown As solo player, it was awesome. I hadn't felt such enjoyment in pvp of destiny since year one in comparison to today.

Pvp seems pretty good so far, only the full game will tell. I'm looking forward to the campaign. Haven't had a full one since vanilla destiny. Also looking forward to the new destinations.
