It seems I'm a bit alone here. The guns feel great, the PvP consistent, and the abilities are fun. My only issue is the slow super charge rate in PvP. Other than that, it's pretty fun. Of course, I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this or people will say "The PvP is trash." Some people are just not used to using their actual guns, which is what D2 fixed. It's more about gun skill now. I hope at least some people agree with me.
Edit: Thanks for the support. I'm glad I'm not alone.
Edit 2: Thanks for front page. You guys are really helpful.

I like it too. As a jump off point it's promising, people complain because they want everything they spent two years complaining about back. SMH

33 RespuestasIt's shit. Weapons suck, movement sucks, enemy's suck, crucible is a lag fest with lag manipulation already happening. Bungie is guess this was rushed eh.
-
11 RespuestasThe guns do not feel great. They feel disconnected. The one thing that d1 got right was guns and they abandoned it. I, and a large portion of the community, a vital portion, will move on because of this. D2 has finally lifted it's curse upon me.

Limited Activities.. same /same gameplay but LESS.. bored after one hr (wtfundunkle)!
-
1 RespuestaIt's amazing I just wish they would add a timer to the bomb in competitive

8 RespuestasSo far to be honest, I'm not having fun at all. Played thru all 3 option and it just bored me. It's like playing D1 again but with a bit tweaks here and there.

2 RespuestasEditado por Boss: 7/21/2017 2:47:00 PMI had tons of fun. I played as Titan the most. I might be alone in this, but I liked Striker better. Sentinal is cool, but I am used to holding down my Super Button. I've popped a Ward of Dawn on accident like, 5,000,000,000,000,000 times now.
Hunter is still my fav class though. Can't get enough of Sunshot.
3 RespuestasFun for sure, just wish there were more activities. Want to just chill in patrol and test my super

Im havin fun exploring everywhere and finding all the cool secrets

I'm with you on that I've enjoyed my time so far but aside from super energy being scarce I'll admit I find that I lack all types of ammo I was running both the mission and strike on a Titan and I couldn't find any primary ammo at one point I was down to my secondary primary with a clip and a half left fighting in the strike I know they mentioned low power ammo drops but overall the ammo is kinda rare in pve Hopefully when the game releases this is fixed or hopefully there's a gunsmith at the farm who sells all 3 ammo types for consumption to use on the field like in d1 Also crucible so far is awesome I love the mixed classes and mixed guns if I go play D1 all I see is storm or goldy gun and sticky nades and pulses and Luna's and even sidearms

3 RespuestasI'm a Destiny guy. 2000hrs ECT. This shit is not fun at all. Guns are garbage. Where is the refund button. Oh, wait, there isn't one. And as the WHO said...won't be fooled again.

I will always remain neutral on this Beta because I do not want what happened to me in D1 to happen to me in D2. I thought the D1 beta was fun and then when the actual game came out there were numerous errors, lack of story, and serious grind. Its ironic seeing posts of people saying: "its just a beta" "they will fix it" Although this beta is alright, im going to hold off on my pre order to see if they actually sort things out unlike what they did with D1 until it reached its last few popular months

More clips of fun!!!! https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/229247907/0/0

Agreed. The first mission was epic and the visuals were beautiful. The strike is a lot of fun with opponents how are actually challenging (try fighting the Fallen captains at the very beginning). PVP felt balanced and fun. All weapons seemed very competitive within appropriate ranges. Power weapons felt amazing when you can get them. Movement speed didn't seem as bad as I had expected. The upgraded supers are powerful and fun. Perhaps they could be generated a bit faster, but I wasn't a big deal. Grenades could use a faster cooldown, especially because they do less damage now. Overall, the beta is a lot of fun.

1 RespuestaI love the beta. Movement is perfect imo. Super smooth. I did have to bump up sensitivity to 6. I think bungie set the default sensitivity (4) too low. Too slow.
-
In my opinion. I enjoyed it. I know others will say. The super, grenade, and melee ability recharge rates are slow but I saw a picture someone posted in another topic. The picture showed armor that had a ability recharge rate boost. The guns are fun but I feel the scout rifle needs more punch. That is if all of them are the exact same, which I don't think they will be. I don't mean copies of the same scout rifle there will be more in the full game. The movement speed on the other hand. That definitely needs a look at. It is just a bit too slow. Other then that it was A okay.

3 RespuestasSorry mate but for me it ain't fun. It's slow & sluggish. The gun play feels forced. Your super takes for ever to charge. (The rest of the abilities I didn't mind as much) They have fúcked with the aim assist again making it worse than D1. Crucible is more of a joke than it was before, only with less grenade spam & more teamshot. The strike is boring & in no way tells me why I'm there in the first place.(I get that the Red Legion are digging a hole but why does that concern me) If this is only a small reflection of what D2 is going to be then I'm definitely not going to be spending nearly as much time play it as I did with D1 (3574hrs).

2 RespuestasEditado por Lady: 7/20/2017 2:49:08 PMA reminder that back stab hasn't been fixed since release of Destiny along with A LOT of others things so for those who say "it's just a beta" weren't around for Destiny's beta 3 years ago. What you see in this Beta is pretty much what you're going to get. They aren't going to change much AT ALL. There's an infinite super glitch and how long ago was that patched in Destiny? which means D2 coding was done around that time (copy/paste) PVE is incredibly boring with 2 primary ammo slots and before people say "they've only given us a few weapons in the Beta". Well look at Destiny, every DLC/expansion we get the same weapons, same stats just re skinned. Same load out for everyone because Bungie don't like giving us a variety... We want more variety! This is why we love Destiny. Power ammo drops doesn't exist (I understand that's getting fixed but primary ammo runs out super fast) super recharge is going to make speed running almost impossible and again boring until you get gear that increases recharge speed of supers/abilities (Yes there are people who enjoy speed running strikes to a boss for loot + rep before the casuals comment below) And i'm sorry i'm not trying to be rude when I say this but you only have 600 hours in Destiny (you're entitled to your own opinion and i'm glad you're having fun) but I would rather the devs listen/take feedback from the hardcore players that play the crap out of this game and know how to break it because that way they can fix it. For me the PVE/PVP is super slow.

Editado por conkus805: 7/20/2017 6:50:12 PMLol at these people who say the guns are garbage. To these people I ask this question, "have you played with every weapon available in d2 ?" Because there were a ton of garbage weapons in d1 as well. It's going to be fine, we have only been able to try one weapon from each archetype really with a few exceptions. Personally, I feel that the handcannons feel great and so do the pulse rifles. The sunshot exotic you get with the hunter feels really good even with the limited perks they give you. Now, I do have one complaint, and it's with the scout rifles. They feel extremely underwhelming. That being said, I'm pretty satisfied with this very small snippet of what the game is going to be like. Looking forward to the full release.

3 RespuestasI like it for the most part, but I do have some complaints. I'm a PvE player mostly. 1.) Abilities need shorter cooldowns. Part of what made Destiny so fun is the abilities. Abilities also feel weak. The Voidwalker can't even make use of its special grenade abilities because of it. 2.) Ammo needs to drop more frequently. The sniper and grenade launcher aren't great. 3.) Weapon balance seems a little off in PvP. Scouts still feel like PvE weapons due to the small maps. Pulse Rifles thrive because of the same reason. 4.) The Hunter's dodge seems really outclassed next to the Titan's barricades and the Warlock's rifts. 5.) Would've been nice if we had some Patrol areas to play around in.
-
6 RespuestasThe synergy on Arcstrider is unbelievable, melee dodge health back shoot melee dodge health back. So much fun. Still haven't quite got the hang of the super but I look fabulous bouncing about haha.
-
3 RespuestasNah , you have to be in full try hard mode to even enjoy pvp in D2 (every single match)
-
14 RespuestasEditado por Unh4ppymeaI: 7/20/2017 1:51:25 PM100% agree. The guns feel balanced in pvp for the most part and I like how it's more focused on gun skill than ability spam. Although it would be nice to get my super before the last 30 seconds of a match
-
I kinda agree, I think the kinetic/energy/power weapon system will be better once everyone gets used to it. However, the drop rate for power ammo in pve definitely needs to be improved like 200%. The ability cooldowns in pve definitely need to be faster. In pvp, I would decrease the cooldowns of the grenades. As far as weapons are concerned, sniper rifles shouldn't even be considered power, considering it takes a tremendous amount of skill to get those headshots in pvp, and if you die well you lose your sniper ammo so it is a waste of a weapon slot. One more thing about weapons, Bungie you need to implement perk rolls again, or have mods mess with the way perks work, or the weapon grind for destiny will be finished very quickly.

Titan skating is so engraved into my brain I try doing it about 3 to 4 times a match and end up boosting awkwardly into the air

I agree. The beta is fun. Looking forward to September.
