Ever since the reveal of Destiny 2 I feel all I see in these forums is whining and petty arguments. For our sake later down the line, can we please be civilised and logical and provide criticism that will help bungie improve the game?
Looking at Destiny 1, many of the changes made by the sandbox team deemed 'terrible' by the community were made because of mounting pressure from the players, resulting in the mess that is PvP now.
We really need to think before we speak and instead of crying nerf first thing, we should first ask ourselves why/how we feel something has to be nerfed or are we just salty over a time where we were bested.
In the end, this will really make everything so much easier. Being clear and transparent with Bungie will hopefully result in smoother, quicker balance changes as well as general community satisfaction.
Feel free to expand upon this below!
Edit: I am fully aware of where I am and the reputation these forums have with regards to logical decisions. I'm just trying to help us help Bungie better the game

1 RespuestaThere have been a fair amount of skepticism already in regards to Destiny 2, that have also been met with generic, nonsensical lines such as "If you don't like the game, don't play" as if that ridiculous trip held any merit and completely missed the point. I'm going to see the beta and decide if I want to pre-order the game then; one of the reasons I'm somewhat glad the PC beta comes out later.

24 RespuestasIf bungie actually cared pvp would be separate from pve we would still have special weapons, our supers would still be great and we would be getting 60fps, reality is they don't give AF.
-
What is harder to pair? Bungie.net + Logical. Red Magnet Side + Red Magnet Side
-
Commendable, but I seriously doubt people on this forum are mature enough to heed your advice.
-
NO! I want my beta with sugar over it, TONS. OF. SUGAR.!

This beta sucks!!!! Wait did it start yet? Just playin.
-
Constructive criticism is essential in beta stage, it highlights issues for the devs to correct for the full game launch, so don't shit on it for the sake of it.
-
12 RespuestasYup, Should have been "Closed beta" , purely a Marketing BS to get pre-orders ! Real testing would have been nice, with Actual feedback ! This will be a crap-fest of PvP wanna-bee gods trying to figure out the new "meta" in advance . . lol True Beta Testing is NOT fun, you try EVERY menu, feature & possible thing you can think of to cause any and all errors or glitches to appear so they can be FIXED !! As well as stress-test the server side of things and the networking setups. DO NOT EXPECT IT TO BE PLAYABLE TO YOUR UNREAL EXPECTATIONS ! ! ! (Or, compare it to how things were, this is NOT D1 )
-
I will get the best gun in the beta and cackle as i spray noobs for days
-
Editado por Mr_Benjii_X: 7/17/2017 10:02:36 PMI will be livestreaming some Destiny 2 in an hour if anyone wants to watch who hasn't pre-ordered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPz6dUKtzQU] Probably will play the first mission and then play some multiplayer for a few hours
-
Bungo's had three years to fix their beta.
-
I've been here long enough to know that Sturgeon's Law will be in full effect. 90% of threads here during the beta will be angry ranting and whining that bury the 10% of actual, constructive criticism. Give or take a few. Hopefully the people tasked with combing the forums for feedback will be aware of this, since it's happened every time Bungie has held a public beta test dating back to Halo 3.
-
I remember when beta tests were to see how mechanics held up and not to see how good the storyline was

1 RespuestaThis beta sucks.... Two hours in and I hate it...
-
4 RespuestasAlmost all problems would be eliminated if they just split PvE from PvP!! I don't know why they can't do this yet?! They certainly have accumulated enough money to accomplish this somehow. If a weapon or armor piece needs a nerf in PvP it should only affect that weapon or armor piece in PvP. Unless there are some really aggravated thrall complaining about weapon nerfs in the game we shouldn't see weapons like the Vex Mythoclast become so obsolete in the base game. Ughhh this whole concept is SO FRUSTRATING!!

1 RespuestaAll I want is reloading while sprinting... Been playing to much bo3, when I came back to D1, I nearly broke my controller in the fit of rage this game brought me to. 😥

You have the power to help change the game. Be helpful and don't be a troll who has nothing better to do than whine and cry all day about a game they haven't even played much or at all...

2 RespuestasI thought we've been playing a beta for years now..
-
2 RespuestasHopefully people actually practice constructive critizism during the beta, but im not going to hold my breath. I personally will give feedback constructively (if i actually have any that is useful) during the beta, but i doubt the vast majority of the people on the bungie.net forums will do the same. I like that you are trying to get people to do it, but im afraid it will fall on mostly people who don't care and only want to be pricks for the sake of being pricks or people who simply scream at things they don't think is perfect (or even the other way around, and scream at people for not thinking its perfect). Most people would rather be in the popular majority or be intentionally contrary to w /e they think people like than care to improve the game they are playing. They don't care if their support of a opinion ruins the game or not, as long as they are for which ever side of the coin they deem better they are fine. But heres hoping we don't get another round of year 1 destiny where people hunt everyone who likes the game and scream at them for over a year and then everyone else playing the game either screams for nerfs for everything that can ever possibly kill them while the logical and sane people are either drowned out by the sea of salty nonsense or downvoted into oblivion for not jumping on the particular bandwagon of the moment.

1 RespuestaI applaud the effort but bungie has already shown they listen to reddit forums more an their own
-
They should totally allow the use of bayonets if a weapon has one attached.

5 RespuestasIf my gun has a bipod, can I use the bipod? Can a shotgun with full auto be mag fed instead of you racking the slide obnoxiously. Why do I reload pump action shotguns at different speeds? Why aren't there more break action hand cannons and shotguns?
-
You do realise who and where you're asking this question, right?
