Can we please be logical and keep Beta criticism constructive?
Ever since the reveal of Destiny 2 I feel all I see in these forums is whining and petty arguments. For our sake later down the line, can we please be civilised and logical and provide criticism that will help bungie improve the game?
Looking at Destiny 1, many of the changes made by the sandbox team deemed 'terrible' by the community were made because of mounting pressure from the players, resulting in the mess that is PvP now.
We really need to think before we speak and instead of crying nerf first thing, we should first ask ourselves why/how we feel something has to be nerfed or are we just salty over a time where we were bested.
In the end, this will really make everything so much easier. Being clear and transparent with Bungie will hopefully result in smoother, quicker balance changes as well as general community satisfaction.
Feel free to expand upon this below!
Edit: I am fully aware of where I am and the reputation these forums have with regards to logical decisions. I'm just trying to help us help Bungie better the game

I kinda agree, I think the kinetic/energy/power weapon system will be better once everyone gets used to it. However, the drop rate for power ammo in pve definitely needs to be improved like 200%. The ability cooldowns in pve definitely need to be faster. In pvp, I would decrease the cooldowns of the grenades. As far as weapons are concerned, sniper rifles shouldn't even be considered power, considering it takes a tremendous amount of skill to get those headshots in pvp, and if you die well you lose your sniper ammo so it is a waste of a weapon slot. One more thing about weapons, Bungie you need to implement perk rolls again, or have mods mess with the way perks work, or the weapon grind for destiny will be finished very quickly.

Sure this beta is as far from Destiny as it could be weak abilities weapons very slow playing. Don't listen to any of this it's just the beta crap because people who where at the reveal saying it plays like Destiny were obviously lying because it doesn't. Also we less than 8 weeks to launch I don't think anything will change drastically. Honestly the only thing I can think that's any way positive Is it looks polished. But otherwise is total thrash everything that made Destiny good is gone.

3 RespuestasConstructive feedback never works for games. If we want something to change, we need to riot. Spam the forums with a singular idea and bitch about how it's the worst thing in the world. It's ok if a few replies here or there explain why it's the worst thing but the general aire of feedback should be pure complaining with no reasoning. And no, I'm not joking. 3 years with this game, 12 with world of Warcraft and I've found that constructive feedback really doesn't lead to changes the way pure unadulterated QQ does.

U could progress, farm, explore, strike was interesting and well done... Now this... campaign is ok, but felt boring. The strike is horrible, like D1 melted with a jump'n'run. Pvp is ok (somehow i am the exception here, I think it is solid, but the maps are kinda boring) In general: It feels like 90% is recycled content, same mobs, same textures, same everything... If this would be a destiny expansion, nobody - and i really mean nobody - would say 'omg, this is like destiny 2, it is so different - all new' In other words: Destiny 1 Beta 11/10, this 6/10.

I wasnt expecting the Dawnblade slashes to travel in an arc. I will have to practice. Having the aerial evade is fan-fukkin-tastic on a warlock. I did notice that it takes 3 normal melees to kill in crucible. That bothers me.

It's a sales demo catered to the pvp streamers so they will hype it... There is not much to test, same Engine as d1, it's still a pos p2p system.

1 RespuestaProblems that I have with the beta , too high of a time to kill for certain weapons , and yet I seen some weapons that melt in less time than you can blink , Absolutely hate the radar , in d1 after looking down sights and got back out , your radar was responsive and immediately there , now it takes a few seconds to slowly appear on screen , and yet it's not as responsive and the red colors of far away players are barely visible , so it takes a few seconds to gauge where they are coming from , and for me it basically slows down the flow of the match , The hand cannons range is weird , in some cases it will snipe players across the map and in others , you'll get ghost bullets that can't connect at all , I'm guessing this is just due to lag Most scout rifles have a very long time to kill , takes about 6-7 shots to kill anyone , not really used to that , And Power Ammo : Lord almighty [quote] Biggest Bs I seen in my life ,[/quote] you have to pick it up , it doesn't matter if you are next to the guy that picks it up , you won't get any of it , it promotes a me first , screw the other guys , now you aren't just fighting the other team, but also your team mates to get that precious power ammo. Other than that , I'm enjoying the beta and I hope bungie can see the flaws in the current system and fix them or at least rework them to make the game more fluid and less stagnant.

I like the pvp modes and the pace. First missions pretty cool so I'm sure I'll enjoy the rest of the campaign still a little hesitant tho for good reason. Still haven't played the strike yet waiting for gf to play it with her. Other than the strike the game seems pretty solid and the few improvements I've exporienced has been great.

2 RespuestasCriticism doesn't have to be civilized to be constructive. I couldn't give a damn about how salty someone comes off, as long as they're making a good point. Whether you're kissing Bungie's ass or tearing them a new one, the only thing that matters is if your point is valid or not. If you think saying it in the nicest way possible is going to make things get done faster, you're delusional. The people making the changes to this game don't even read the forums. They're going to get the nice version no matter how people say it here in the forums, which is probably part of the reason they always seem like they just don't quite get it.

Critiquing a game is always constructive, even when it's not constructive. There is always a grain of truth held within, the problem is allot of people can't take the critique and become angry.

Slow and boring. Pve is ok Pvp is not Already shut it down and will be playing d1 shortly.

Campaign and the strike seem fine, only a couple issues with enemies just standing there looking at you for a few seconds before realizing you are there. Played both crucible modes available and there lies the downfall, both available maps are tiny and they look and feel it too. 4v4 boring as shit exactly how I thought it was going to be when they revealed it, long gone are the days of a reasonable but still crap 6v6. Auto rifle also seems to have 2 fire rates one minute it will shoot normally other times much slower. Expected more from the grenade launcher was actually quite mediocre. If I was to vote for it Campaign so far 7/10 Crucible so far 3/10
