The more I learn about it the more I know the fun has been stripped away.
So much for a fun game that felt different.

If you want a fun game that feels different, why would you look for a sequel? Switch franchises. If you want a fun game that feels the same, go for Destiny 2.

3 RespuestasSucks that there won't be private matches at launch or rumble. Kind of bummed out about the abilities being toned way down especially the movement abilities. IMO the movement abilities separated this shooter from COD IW and Titanfall2. It's fine toning down stuff, I get it but I don't know about the movement abilities having a long cooldown. At least in the other games we can wall run. In destiny we're resurrected aliens brought back to fight other aliens, we should have bad a$$ abilities to do so with. I will also miss 6v6 because it's fun not to play sweaty all the time.

5 RespuestasEditado por TheCyo: 6/20/2017 7:24:15 AMMarketing can only do so much. It is still the feature-stripped-last-generation-graphics mess. You know something is wrong, when one of the praised features of the reveal is "more cinematic renderings". Yeah, always looking out for those in a shooter.

1 RespuestaI haven't preordered and not going to. After lack of content and constant promises and underwhelming rewards. Not to mention connection issues. My expectations are very low. Bungie was a company I respected to the max after being a active halo player 1-reach. Odst being my very favorite. The challenge and precautions of firefight. But joining Activision has brought bungie to a low that no game or promise will redeem them. I mean look at the people who left and they fired. Namely Marty, his music was epic. So as for the possibility of buying this game slim to none.

4 RespuestasI haven't been keeping up with the game after I finished the record book but I'm kind of glad I'm moving to other games now. Everything people are posting doesn't sound like a game I want to play.
-
6 RespuestasThe game play is underwhelming. Get ready for strikes that take two hours due to primary's only. They don't work now why would they this fall.

5 RespuestasEditado por UltraCon79: 6/20/2017 1:21:26 PMMy brother and I lead an Xbox community of 3k people. He recently preordered 5 titles for his wife and kids. After the reveal. . Canceled all 5 and I am considering cancelation also. 30fps on Xbox X? No server?

2 RespuestasI think destiny 2 will be a clusterfukk just like the 1st one, a different type of clusterfukk, but one indeed...
-
7 RespuestasYeah, I hate the onslaught of info they put out. Especially the "gameplay reveal" being the first mission. I would of loved/been blown away by the first mission had I played it on my own without it being spoiled. It just goes to show they really don't care about story when they're willing to completely spoil the beginning of it.
-
11 RespuestasNot as much as PlayStation, they had a great show without a doubt and possibly won E3 but dude... that stream quality was absolute shit and no one from YouTube to twitch could make out what they were doing. They really -blam!-ed up showing off stuff at E3
-
8 RespuestasYeah it sucks because nothing revealed excited me just made me not want the game

6 RespuestasI have the same type of reaction to the D2 reveals. After Crucible was announced as 4v4 only, each thing that i heard after that was less and less exciting. And i wasn't even planning on buying the game for PvP. I was buying it for PvE and would occasionaly play PvP. But now i'm like: nah, i don't want to play THAT PvP. Then they announced a bunch of "things to do" like Dead Sectors, but where are these things? Why haven't they shown them? My guess is that they aren't really special things to do. Just "extra" things to do. So, they've changed the Crucible, the weapon management, the subclasses and none of the changes were what i was asking for. And these "extras"? Well, if they are anything like a PoE, a CoE or an Archon's Forge you can count me out. In fact, if they are anything like D1's patrol encounters you can count me out. Been there. Done that. Had my fun. No salt. Just bored.

8 RespuestasEditado por funkyzeit1809: 6/20/2017 2:09:07 AMIa their a way we can get a refund if the game is s**t? I dont like this thing after we pre-ordered now they reveal no rumble no 6vs6 special amo is power amo only one guy can have it, etc..... Not the game i loved since 2014 Plus i always wanted to ask whose stupid idea was to remove special amo on a respawn so we can have a variety of guns like ice b and sidearm and ou wait thats it o.O

1 RespuestaLost me at 4x4 pvp , nice job bungie .
-
I think a lot of the issues people are having is a result of bungie making changes focus on the people they lost, not the people they kept and they seem fine or throwing out the baby with the bath water. I'm willing to bet they assume "we have them no matter what". It's also very telling that they are more focused on forcing people into groups and socialization than showing amazing new content. This signals to me that the end game loop is going to be the same boring crap and they know they the social aspect will be easier to get people to stick around through the minimal content grind loop more than the content itself.

3 RespuestasEditado por DaMidniteHour: 6/20/2017 12:59:14 AMThe more I learn, the more I'm worried it's actually D1 at the core with a reshuffled weapon loadout, PvP and a few supers. It's the same damn game we've played since 2014 without any significant engine changes (and all the headaches that came with it) accommodated for the current generation. I hope to God I'm wrong.

6 RespuestasEditado por Spendgame: 6/20/2017 12:53:07 PMPeople complain about anything. D2's launch success will hinge on one thing; how much content there is at launch. If they launch with a 10 hour campaign, 5 strikes and 1 raid people will riot. Again.

1 RespuestaEditado por AustinSX: 6/21/2017 1:30:09 AMIts going to be laughably bad. They actually made subclasses have pre set builds. You can't even choose the individual perks anymore. They must think their fans are completely brain dead Oh... And it's unbelievable to me that there's only two new supers (and one "new" one to replace arcblade). The other abilities are the -blam!-ing same. They aren't even new classes, just supers. Its a glorified expansion

15 RespuestasIncoming gothalion beat offs who believe the guy's word is law. It's okay to be critical of a game that we haven't played. You know why? Because they had a reveal that was supposed to show the best and most intriguing part of the new game. Instead it showed us a game that has been artificially made more difficult and dumbed down by the new weapon loadouts. Period.

2 RespuestasThe more I hear about this title the more I'm excited for it. It's going to be a fun game to play with my buddies and looking forward to all the new stuff we will have to do. Hype level is off the charts.

12 Respuestas
The more I learn about it the more I know the fun has been stripped away.
There is a large gulf between how players like playing the game and how Bungie wants player to play the game. It seems like all Bungie can talk about is how they changed game mechanics in response to player behavior, as if we are honey badgers who keep escaping from our cages. They need to talk about how the changes make the game more fun. How hard can that be?
-
New topic to everyone out there let's let Destiny2 run before we start buffing nerfing or changing anything let's see how it goes
-
11 RespuestasThey shouldn't have focused on PvP during the reveal. One of the big headlines was the change to weapon loadouts. Anyone that has spent any amount of time playing Destiny 1 can immediately see how those changes should positively affect the PvP experience. What isn't so evident is the extent to which these changes could drastically affect the PvE experience. Choosing to lead the reveal with a focus on PvP, in light of the tumultuous history of PvP-focused balancing over the course of D1, was a move that failed to inspire hope in many of the dev's detractors. This is all assuming, of course, that there would be anything to show. Who knows? Maybe PvE will be just as much of a joke the second time around.

4 RespuestasI preordered, and I'm kind of not feeling the game at this point. But I'll give it a go before I pass judgement. Maybe I'll be hyped, maybe I'll be disappointed. I'll give it a chance. More annoyed that ships, shaders, emblems, emotes and such don't carry over than the weapons and armor.

4 RespuestasIt felt different? When did you play it?! I'm jealous.
